-1 Dragonlord Atarka, -1 Dragonlord Kolaghan, -1 Stormbreath Dragon

+2 Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury, +1 Atarka, World Render

I think that the buff on Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury is substantial in a tribal Dragons deck; easily lethal by time you have most of your Dragons on the field. Her ability grants +1/+0 to ALL CREATURES, for EACH DRAGON. Yeah. Also, her Dash cost is relevant right now, seeing how most control builds primarily use sorcery-speed removal.

Atarka, World Render will probably win the game by time you lay her down. Double strike to any Dragon when it attacks, including herself, if downright amazing in a build like this.

Also, you probably want to find some room for Dragon Tempest. 2-mana for haste on all your Dragons (effectively) and even more damage whenever they enter the battlefield is really good.

Finally, you may want to include a third copy of Thunderbreak Regent. Not entirely necessary in the MB, but for sure in the SB vs. Control. The insurance it provides on your late-game drops that you don't want getting Hero's Downfalled or Radiant Purged.

Sorry for the block of text, but I hope it helped!

It does, thank you! I didn't realize the ability on Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury was for each dragon, so I'll definitely add some in! As for Dragon Tempest, I did consider adding this card, but ultimately it ends up clogging up the two-drop slot for more important things like ramp. Thanks again.

No problem! Yeah, I didn't realize that about her either; really insane stuff. As for Dragon Tempest, you may be right, but I wouldn't mind having 1 or 2 in the MB. And don't forget about Atarka, World Render, she can do some pretty sweet stuff once you get your Dragonz online.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!!! Love the deck idea! I would totally build a deck based off of the main-4, if it wasn't for how reliant it is on expensive (for me) fetch lands. Unless, the Shaman makes them less necessary? You've really got my interest now. I might have to keep this one in the back of my mind for when M15 and thus most of my current standard deck goes out of standard. Good luck!

Loving the removal section. Crater's Claws can easily be player removal with enough mana.

You may want to add Xenagos, God of Revels to give your big creatures haste and make them bigger too. Also with all the dragons you have Sarkhan Unbroken is probably a better choice than dragonspeaker, just make sure that if you ever somehow manage to get his ult off that putting all your dragons on the field is a bad idea since a single boardwipe would mean you lose.

Replace Crucible of Fire with Crux of Fate. Post board-wipe, Shaman of the Forgotten Ways' Formidable ability reads: ", tap: You win the game."

...Didn't see it in the sideboard. Maybe that combo IS better as a game 2 surprise after all.

The_Dark_Adonis: I'll definitely consider Xenagos, God of Revels as he fits in nicely as an earlier drop to give haste. For Sarkhan Unbroken, I feel it's too much trouble to splash blue and honestly getting the dragons usually isn't too bad. I just think there are better cards to go in his place. Thanks though!
Roccovsky: I did consider mainboarding Crux of Fate, but it takes out all of my ramp, which is what makes this deck so fast and deadly. And really, Shaman of the Forgotten Ways never works up that kind of mana anyway, but thank you! I'll run some tests with the boardwipe just to see.

Now, it might just be me, but I would think that Atarka, World Render would be more important to have 4 of than have the two Dragonlord Atarka, since she's needed for the turn-4-win combo and because, at least personally, it seems her ability is better than her big sister. (Or however you want to refer to them)

The same goes for Sarkhan, who, in my opinion, kinda sucks, and either Thunderbreak Regent or Dragonlord Kolaghan. At least when I run my Sarkhan in casual, he seems to only ever be used as a 4/4 dragon. If you're going to run that, why not run a playset of Thunderbreaker for that much less mana or Dragonlord Kolaghan since he's, again, part of the turn-4 win combo?

Why you dont put some Dragonspeaker Shaman for reduce to maximum the cost of the bigs dragons and why you dont put Terminate up to Crater's Claws?

Yeah, typically in my standard decks I like to use cards currently in standard. Haha no worries iXeedz.

I really recommend taking out the Crucible of Fire set. They do not do much to impact the board in a sense. It's kind of a win-more scenario that only allows you to close games faster if you already of Atarka out. Go with more actual threats/control and don't worry about buffing your threats. It would be better for them to all have haste than to give them a power bonus.

Love the deck but I also think Crucible of Fire is unnecessary since dragon creatures are already huge to begin with. Nonetheless awesome deck :D

I think that I'm going to disagree with the masses here. I'd leave Crucible of Fire to make the dragons big, and when you start swinging Atarka, World Render and get an extra 6 damage for each dragon, that's just plain deadly! After all, that's the name of the game. Add that with Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury and you've got a whole bunch of damage swinging at your opponent! If they can't block a single dragon by that point, it's probably game. The only problem would be ramping to the point where you can have all of that.

I have a very similar deck ( 40 Damage on turn 4? WITH DRAGONS!? ) that you might find useful for reference or ideas. It's not DTK updated, but it could help.

Either way, sorry about that. This deck seems super cool, and I have some advise:

Dragonlord's Servant is bad, even in dragon decks. I'd cut all three for 2-3 more ramp cards.

Let's be honest. Thunderbreak Regent is one of the best dragons ever printed, up there with Stormbreath and Worldgorger Dragon (and Zodiac Dragon before it got erata'ed). It should be upped to 3 or 4.

Fearsome Awakening might seem cool, but overall it isn't as good as it seems. It doesn't do anything after a while or at the beginning.

Crucible of Fire is sick, but it's almost always a 'win more' card. I use it, but only because I use it in a casual environment.

Shaman of Forgotten Ways doesn't work with Crater's Claws. Just something to think about...

What about the tribal dragon land from Fate Reforged??!! It seems very good in this type of deck. Crucible of the Spirit Dragon.
