What is cooler than a Shark? A flying Shark! What is cooler than a flying Shark? Riding a flying Shark to victory! Brallin, Skyshark Raider aims to do just that in conjunction with his (or her?) favorite pet Shabraz, the Skyshark. Anyone being familiar with how Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity works, should see pretty similar potential in this list. The deck has different win cons. Brallin, Skyshark Raider + a Curiosity type effect CAN go infinite, but only when holding more cards than hand size at the end of your turn. You will have to discard, triggering Brallin which then triggers Curiosity which will lead to an endless loop (or a loop going on for so long until you run out of cards to draw). In case you don't wanna wait until your cleanup step, Ghostly Pilferer is a nice discard outlet, beating any removal spell aimed towards your commander. Tireless Tribe would be another alternative (it's not included as of now). If you have Shabraz, the Skyshark on the field, he will grow and so will your life total (which doesn't really matter tbh) and Brallin, too. Brallin and Shabraz can boost each other, the human gifting trample to the skarkbird, while the animal granting the human the ability to fly for a turn. This can also be a win con: Commander damage. Not much can block a 30/30 trampling flyer more than once. Should drawing and discarding your entire deck not do the trick, we have the classic EDH wincon Thassa's Oracle to just come in on an empty library to win the game on the spot. Of course, Thoracle is not a guaranteed win either, all your opponents have at least one chance to interact with it. Laboratory Maniac could solve this issue but the Lab Man has his own weaknesses. In the instants and sorceries section we see a wide variety of counterspells (I need to get a Mana Drain, but the Legends version is mad expensive), card draw and removal as well as some tutors (Enlightened Tutor just makes the deck a tiny bit more consistent than Niv is). Artifacts are there to ramp (duh.). Enchantments are win cons + taxing effects. The creatures in this deck have different jobs. Everything that has white in it is there to hinder your opponents from doing things that might hurt you or your gameplan. Hullbreacher does what Narset, Parter of Veils does but has cool ramp built in. Dockside Extortionist is a staple that I think any deck with red should make room for. Tandem Lookout is another Curiosity on legs. And last but not least, Imperial Recruiter is able to tutor any creature that isn't Hullbreacher from the deck. I haven't tested the land base enough yet. It seems way too weak to Blood Moon so I definitely have to work on that a little.
