I tried this deck couple of times and I always finished to have no creatures in play.I think it needs more creatures :)

That has literally never happened to me. I think you may have gotten unluck.

Yea, sounds unlucky to me. I play this deck a lot and have yet to have that happen. Now that I say that, it's going to happen to me for sure :-). I tried it casually with a buddy last night with two Preeminent Captain (dropping two Anax and Cymede) and it worked pretty good. Clearing a lane with burn, Sneaking in Fabled Hero and buffing his double strike Is just nasty. Getting a play set of Brute Force today to try that out from your previous recommendations. Can't wait to play it.

Sounds awesome! The Captain/Hero combo sounds brutal. I might have to pick up a couple copies. And you're going to like Brute Force. It's great not only for pushing through tons of damage, but as an instant speed save from burn too. Very fun.

I don't think I'd cut 2 Anax's though. Maybe an Anax and a Swiftblade. Anax's trample pump is so important for winning quickly that I'd be upset if he didn't show up.

I'm play testing two Spark Trooper for Iroas, God of Victory for the decks four drop slot With two Preeminent Captain. Very aggressive

I can see the value there. Though personally, on turn 4 I'm trying to close it out and I prefer the extra evasion and indestructibility.

It's my baby. Probably the best deck I've built to date. I gotta make sure it succeeds.

loving the red white soldier theme! i had a boros deck in standard when i played it, like once. It was fast but not nearly this fast. If i make a modern deck i can easily see something like this being my go to deck especially since your not hurting the wallet all that much! I am wondering how well it does against the tier 1 decks currently in modern. I am a modern scrub and not little to nothing that is why I am asking. Thanks and +1

Dude I am flabbergasted. I usually can't stand low-CMC decks because, while most of them are effective, they are boring as fuck to play.
But this one looks fun as fuck. I'm going to buy it with the addition of spark trooper and preeminent.

It's very fun. It has a surprisingly big toolbox for as aggro as it is. And the flavor is the best. Enjoy!

Worship would fit with the lore, not sure how helpful it would be though. IT ISN'T OVER UNTIL EVERY LAST ONE OF US IS DEAD!

What do you think about adding Balefire Liege to the deck ?Will it slow the deck too much ?
May 31, 2015 1:13 a.m.
Also what about Boros Reckoner or Skyknight Legionnaire or Mirran Crusader for this deck ? (Possibbly instead of a copy of Boros Swiftblade and a copy of Anax and Cymede )
And maybe Lightning Helix instead of Lightning Bolt ?
Can Legion's Initiative work in this deck ?

Oh dude, I completely forgot. Boros Elite is one of the best white budget cards in existence. Try it out!

Dennis14, those are all pretty great cards, but none of them really work here. By turn 5, you want the game to be over, so the liege is wasted. Most of the rest clog up the 3 drop slot. And the initiative doesn't give us the combat tricks we need to win quickly. This deck has been pretty thoroughly tested with different cards, this is the tightest by far. You can win turn 3 with your 1 drop. To that end, InDirectX I wouldn't want to replace the Hoplite. He's a game winner.

That's exactly what I'm thinking with Preeminent Captain. I'll try him out and let you know how it goes.
