This is a Pauper deck I used in a recent tournament and won 3rd place.

The concept of this deck is to get one of the creatures out early and use the various spells to buff them and swing big. With a Kiln Fiend in an opening hand its easy to win turn 3.

Assault Strobe is vital to ensure a creature hits even harder, especially on the fiend or the Nivix Cyclops because they buff themselves from spells. Use Distortion Strike to ensure you get through. And never hold back from feeding your own life to the Mutagenic Growth and Gitaxian Probe to sling out free spells.
