Not of This World is extremely interesting and seems to be way better bait to get a removal spell then Stubborn Denial im thinking about switching them in my deck if I go more combo kill

Have you thought about Temur Battle Rage? It's 2 mana, but the instant speed and extra evasion via trample makes it worth it in my opinion. I like it better than Armed, anyway.

Also, sorry to double post but Turn Aside seems better than Not of This World. Even though it costs one mana, it is much more consistent. You don't have to cast 2 spells beforehand.

Mutagenic Growth Could be good, but I don't know what you would take out.
Just an idea I'm throwing out there, replace Nivix Cyclops with Monastery Mentor? or is that just to slow?

I've got my own version of a similar deck, but without the black. I don't play it often and haven't worked on it in a while, but Hidden Strings is nice in that it either pays for itself and acts like a free pump, or lets you control the board a bit. The amazing thing about Cipher is, like Rebound, you get to cast a copy of the spell for free, but it's permanently tacked onto the creature. I don't think the extra cast affects the damage since the cipher trigger happens in response to damage... but I often play with Young Pyromancer and Blistercoil Weird.
I don't have any G-probes, so to justify splashing black in I'd have to find more stuff to use in black, like Duress or something since I don't have any Inquisition of Kozilek, otherwise I'd find myself potentially stalling out waiting desperately for black mana.

Do you normally have to side out, Not of This World for Stubborn Denial every game two because they can kill your creature before you can pump to seven.

Well, killing my creature before I get the combo in general is a problem... pretty soon I'm going to completely revamp my deck with a much better anti-removal focus.
So yeah, I'll probably mainboard some stubborn denial and I won't play kiln fiend until I have at least 3 mana (so that I can protect it).

I really want this to become modern viable, did you ever look into more creatures are hand disruption? Thoughtsieze or Nivmagus Elemental even Death's Shadow

I think you can always resolve the stack properly to get not of this world to cast for free as long as you have three spells. Casting the sorcery first and two instances

I have been playing this build a bit and my main issue is consistancy. I added Faithless Looting and Artful Dodge

Hey Globeking good to see you around... in my experience the main issue is more keeping my creature alive from all the removal/discard. Right now I'm very busy but hopefully soon I'll give this deck a major update :). I'll consider your suggestions but I'll need some time to think it through.

Oh and also be sure you have 4x Dizzy Spell. You can transmute whatever 1 mana card you need.

Could probably find a lot of useful tips for the deck

Its alot different deck than that in how it plays. it catches people off guard and any event without coverage this deck is gonna be better then the nivmangus combo. This is very well thought out dont underrate it before ya play it

I started running the Cyclops over the flamekin because boltproof has made it really good against burn. And he can also block haha

OK yeah I'll do that. Sorcery speed doesn't affect me in any way. I'm going to leave it sideboarded because it's 2 mana, and I usually only have 3 lands out at a time to cast 3 spells.
