Finding myself getting smashed vs control decks. I've decided to remove the Fleshbag Marauder and Zurgo Helmsmasher with Brutal Hordechief Will post the results of the next few matches I play with it.

Add a 4th Chief of the Edge. If you run a warrior tribal deck you need to max out on effects that pump your tribe.

Radiant Flames is an interesting mainboard inclusion. It'll kill most of your board if you cast it for 3, but if you're having problems with thopter tokens or something in your local meta it could be a sensible mainboard inclusion.

Still, I'd include 4x Battle Brawler (removing all 3 Malakir Cullblade - he requires way too much work to get to a 3/3 or higher - and a Mage-Ring Bully). Battle Brawler will usually be a 3/2 first strike, sometimes a 4/2 first strike with Chief of the Edge. That lets you save your removal for the threats that really matter, like opposing Siege Rhinos, Woodland Wanderers, etc.

Merciless Executioner is probably better in the sideboard, if anywhere. Against many decks he's just not good. You can play him on turn 3, but they can just up their 1/1 Hangarback Walker and sac it, getting 2 thopters out of the deal while you sac something more valuable. Especially with aristocrat decks being prevalent now, he's just a liability against many decks.

4x Bloodsoaked Champion is a natural inclusion here, especially since you mentioned you're having trouble against control decks. Unless they exile him, he's going to keep coming back (he can even bring himself back if he gets to attack).

Arashin Foremost is also a good threat that lets you curve out perfectly and do a ton of damage repeatedly. If you can reliably have double white by turn 3, he's a great inclusion.

My suggestions:

+4 Bloodsoaked Champion

+4 Battle Brawler

+1 Chief of the Edge

+1 Mardu Woe-Reaper

-3 Mage-Ring Bully (having to attack is actually a pretty big liability even for an aggro deck)

-3 Malakir Cullblade

-2 Merciless Executioner

-2 Radiant Flames

If you decide to include Arashin Foremost, you should swap out the Goblin Glory Chasers with Mardu Woe-Reapers on a 1-for-1 basis since 2/1s work better with double strike than (sometimes) 1/1s. Exiling creatures can be relevant against some decks, as well (e.g. decks with Ojutai's Command or Deathmist Raptors).

A friend just pointed out that I don't need Canopy Vista as a staple since I'm not running green lol. Added them only because 1) they are fetchable and 2) I just pulled them. Replacing them with normal Plains

Hey, have you been playing this deck much? I really like some things about it but I'm guessing your mana base is losing you a lot of games. Black and white 1-drops, and double black, double white 3-drops seem like they'll be uncastable pretty often. Did you decide to add more lands? Seems like you'd need to.

You know I did lose a few games due to not pulling a Plains. Pulling a Swamp has never really been an issue for this deck though, perhaps it's just me but I always seem to have an overabundance of swamps in my pulls. I went ahead and shifted some cards around, notably removing a Mountain and a Swamp for a Plains and a Caves of Koilos

Nice deck! It seems very efficient. I'm in doubt of what kind of standard deck to build, allies or warriors. I tried to build one of warriors also, but it was not that great. i'm sticking with the allies for now, because I really like them, but really enjoyed this deck too!

Thank you! Right now, allies might be gaining a bit of an edge in Standard since the bulk of warriors will be rotated out when the new Innistrad drops in a couple months. It will be a sad day then, Crackling Doom has become one of my favorite spells of all time. That being said, allies are getting a lot of great additions in this next expansion, I'll be keeping an eye out to see if I'll be making the same transition.

i'll be very sad when Khans and Fate drop out, but i'm really excited for Innistrad! Crackling is awesome..saved my ass many times.
