This deck is built to choose violence. First, we play tons of ramp spells to get to Shelob as soon as possible; she is the most important card to have in play at all times. Shelob will usually stick around for a while after playing her, thanks to ward. However, this won't stop people from taking her out as soon as they can. Thankfully, We also play a few ramp spells that can help us find Swarmyard, which bolsters Shelob's survivability. Once she's in play, all ya gotta do is fight. Fight everything that is threatening the table or everything that you want to steal for yourself. Try to prioritize targeting down cards that have abilities you can take advantage of. To combo with creatures that have attacking abilities, we play 2 versions of Karn. Turning our food tokens into creatures is incredibly useful, and gives Shelob's abilities some further depth.

There are also some extra spider-token making cards to help spread out a bit; making your turns safer with resilient blockers (thanks to Shelob's ability, they become hard to deal with and reliable blockers!). That being said, don't fall into the trap of playing too many spider creature cards in your deck. Spider Tribal is, unfortunately, awful. We do play what I believe are the best 5 spiders in the game. Each of the spiders in this deck are great alongside Shelob, and have amazing utility effects. Outside of those 5, every other spider can be underwhelming. An honorable spider mention is Skyfisher Spider, but with our extremely low creature count, I found him to be not very profitable.

I ended up dropping the Devoted Druid infinite combo piece from the deck. I have so often gone for the infinite play, and done nothing with it. Having unlimited mana is super fun, but when it's unsearchable and doesn't help out the general strategy, is it really worth playing? If you find some good ways to make that card naturally flow into the deck, leave a comment! I'd love to hear some thoughts!

Overall, this deck is really fun to play. You have an actual ton of interaction with this deck, and can be pretty threatening all game simply by stealing your opponent's cards. Also, The Shire is a bad card in this deck. Do not play it.
