My first attempt at a Spirit deck! Any and all suggestions welcome. I'm just getting back into Modern after taking a long hiatus (stopped playing during Theros) so there may be good options I'm just not thinking of.

Big questions I have in my mind:

  1. Is Niblis of Frost enough of a win condition, along with general disruption and Drogskol Captain? If so, what can I do to tighten my suite of instants and sorceries? I'm not sure I need the additional draw from Serum Visions, but I wanted a 1-cost unconditional utility spell to go along with Silence, that I can just drop to trigger Niblis of Frost even if there's nothing for me to target with Negate or Vapor Snag. Also, will 9 be enough to trigger the effect consistently? I'm keeping in mind that permanents synergize with Ephara, while instants and sorceries synergize with Niblis, so I want to find a good balance.

  2. I feel like the creature base could also use some honing. The meta I play in is generally full of a lot of ramp-y green decks with tramplers, which is why I went for Kami of False Hope, but I think Selfless Spirit is more flexible overall. Another big consideration is Topplegeist, but I wouldn't be able to get Delirium to trigger, so I'm not sure if it's worth it.

  3. I definitely want to keep the cost of the deck under $70. If it works great and I really like it, I'd think about investing in cards like Path to Exile and Geist of Saint Traft, but for now I want to keep it pretty budget. The 2x Disallow are in the sideboard because I have them, but I think the mana cost is a little restrictive in this list.

Hit me with your thoughts and suggestions! Thanks!
