Spiritual Search

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and then you overwhelm them with card advantage."

Overview

Budget aura tutoring. Started out as a creative outlet for Search the City, due to the cheap aura tutors present. Generally, the deck runs a plan somewhat like this: Tallowisp/Kor Spiritdancer. Snag some auras. Put the enemy's aggro on the back burner with Temporal Isolation/Mark of Eviction. Throw down some Ethereal Armor. Maybe even take an extra turn in there somewhere?

Cards Passed Over

Dual lands will be added if color proves to be a problem. but for now I'd like to optimize for Search the City and speed.

Crystallization is cool, but not worth the restrictive cost when you want to keep your auras on the field. Same idea with Pendrell Flux.

Curse of Chains is color-cheaper than most of the Pacifism crowd, which is good for this deck, but Temporal Isolation's flash brings it ahead.

Prison Term was in most of the early builds, but was cut for Mark of Eviction to take advantage of Kor Spiritdancer and to conduct the epic play T2 Tallowisp T3 Niblis of the Urn into Mark of Eviction. I would want to put this back in if I could find a slot for it.

Geist of Saint Traft is expensive. So is Angelic Destiny. Also, due to the presence of Search the City, I don't want anything I won't run four copies of.

Mesa Enchantress feels like a bad Kor Spiritdancer copies 5-8. While the enchantress card draw archetype makes for a busted awesome deck, that's not really what this is trying to be, and the draw is her only real upside.

Picks Justified

Yes, there are four copies of Three Dreams. That's worth twelve whole dreams! It's a great card, and everything in the deck wants to be 4-of to maximize the consistency of Search the City anyways.

Niblis of the Urn is in over Lantern Kami for additional redundancy on attacks, and it can bypass a single flier.

Search the City is weird and not very good, but I really wanted to try to maximize my ability to complete its quest, so it's kind of the point of the deck.

Spectral Flight is the most borderline card in the deck, despite it being a very strong offensive aura. I might cut it for more controlling auras (Prison Term?) if it proves necessary. However, it still holds its own with Tallowisp. You'll just rarely search for it unless you're all out of Ethereal Armor.

What's Missing

Your input! Your feedback! Even your +1's! Whatever you have to say, I want to hear it. Ideas on curve, alternate auras, alternate utility, whatever.
