The second they spoiled Atraxa, I knew I'd have to build around her. But I didn't expect it to become one of my favorite decks. I didn't want to go all in on only +1/+1 counters or towards planeswalker superfriends, but instead to find a perfect balance between them while utilizing the best spells to control the board in all those colors. Deck is named after this Metallica Song

Planeswalker Package Ajani: I selected to use Mentor of Heros and Unyielding because they both work well about getting +1/+1 counters onto creatures at some point, while if I'm able to bring any of them to their ultimate aid's in locking down the game for me Liliana: I selected Liliana Vess mostly for her ability to tutor up anything once she hits the board, but also for if she is able to stay out could allow me to bring back anything I've eliminated off opponents boards. Liliana of the veil is in the deck to help more on focusing on any player causing early game issues, by either wrecking their hand or board. Vraska and Garruk: I group these two together cause they act very similiar to one another in the deck. Both create a token creature that has some tricky key words to them, but also can be used to remove any threats on the board that I don't want to deal with. Karn, Ugin, Elspeth, Teferi, and Ob Nixilis: The remaining five walkers are all in cause each of them have very well rounded and useful abilities that I can call upon at times.

Mana Fixing * One of the main issues in any multi color deck, especially a 4 color deck, is making sure to hit the correct color needed. I tried to make sure to have many options to aid in adjusting my mana correctly, including such things as Darksteel Ignot, Chromatic Lantern, Coalition Relic. While the filter lands along with Cascading Cataracts help to alter mana I am producing to what I may need. All while a Mirari's wake helps to accelerate my mana so that I can drop bigger threats early.

Removal and control Package Many of the instants and sorcery I selected are ones that allow for removal of almost any threat while being very cost effective. Vona was put in cause of being able to use my life total to destroy any nonland permanent, while hoping to rebalance my life total with her, Atraxa, or Archangel of Thune. hile Lux Canon does much of the same thing, but with counters that I hope to proliferate with Atraxa or Inexorable Tide Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Spike Weaver: These two spells and one creature get a special mention cause they are my answers to removal directed towards my board, especially towards my commander.

Other note worthy choices Most the rest of the cards go along with either trying to increase the number of counters on any thing or everything, or aid in advancing my board state. Necropotence and Luminarch Ascension: Both of these rely on my life total, and the fact I hope to be swinging in with Atraxa and keeping a high life total. Necropotence is also in there cause it allows me to delve deeply into my library when I need it. Doubling Season, Kalonian Hydra, Deepglow Skate, and Vorel of the Hull Clade: All great ways to double up any and all +1/+1 counters or other counters on my permanents Chasm Skulker and Hangerback Walker: Great creatures to drop early game and keep pumping more counters onto them, so if they do die I can amass a large army of tokens. Skithiryx: Cause I couldn't resist putting in atleasts one infect creature, and he had the most utility to him Corpsejack Menace + Fathom Mage A worth mention as these two combo well with one another in order to allow me to draw mass amount of cards at end of turn when proliferate
