I like it. At first, I was all like, "How the heck is he expecting those Blightsteel Colossus ' to hit the battlefield. Then I noticed the Shape Anew . Then I noticed the complete lack of any other artifacts in the deck. And I never considered the synergy of the Splicers with the Blightsteel before. Ew. And win! Full of win.

Lol yep...I dropped 3rd turn Blightsteel Colossus on a kid last week and basically all I heard from him after about a minute and half of just sitting there staring at it was: "shit."

@Strangelove I had thought about putting in a Phantasmal Image or two but I'm going to drop the "I don't know what to take out" card. :P

Vital Splicer ? Might be able to help out with midgame control, but I'd only put a couple in, in place of a couple Master Splicer s

Check my Bant Golem too if you get the chance, deck:so-many-golems

deffinately one of the better golemn blightsteel decks....Blightsteel Colossus was my first ever mythic from a pack so im happy to see him in a good deck...just be carefull to take him out vs pesky Act of Aggression type of decks.... +1 from me.. since ur already in the color zone why not just add sum Moorland Haunt there pretty good and would hav efuel since people tend to kill off birds/splicers...well yeah ther ya go..

if ya have time come by my deck BW morbid experiment ide take any opinions and dun worry to comment (ull see why) i read em all and dont rage over repeats(a new idea does pop out every now and then). +1 would be apreiciated too =)

Why'd you take out the Tempered Steel ? Playtesting prove that it wasn't quite up to the task?

Regardless, +1

Maybe a Xenograft to pump your ramp creatures?

I would drop 2x Master Splicer and 2x Master's Call in place for 4x Revoke Existence. Purely because I think your biggest problem will be someone using Oblivion Ring or Pacify on your Blightsteel Colossus.

Or a Revoke Existence to take out Blightsteel Colossus ... maybe a couple hexproof boosts like Mask of Avacyn or something like Indomitable Archangel ?

I really like the deck man, although, the one part I don't is the Master Splicer tbh. I mean you said it was consistent, which is BY FAR the most important thing, but I don't know about the Master Splicer 's. Normally I am a proponent because they are a sweet 4 drop, but since you are going the route of Intangible Virtue , you might want to consider Vital Splicer 's. With so many board wipes in the format, I have found that a little bit of regeneration can go a long way, especially because you do have the Intangible Virtue 's to keep those 3/3's as 4/4's or 5/5's. Unless of course I'm thinking of something different. I also like card:Ranger's Guile if you at somepoint decide to play Precursor Golem , but your deck seems solid as is.

NICELY DONE, +1

I really like the idea of this deck. In playtesting I was really having trouble getting the land out that I wanted though. A lot of land was coming out tapped, etc.

When it clicks it's pretty much game over though.

+1 from me!

Yeah I've played a deck like this and found the same problem as MitchelSocks describes above. It could use a Merfolk Looter to cover that problem, which also allows you to dig for Shape Anew if you don't draw it right off.

Mine was before Innistrad tho, I like the Intangible Virtue in there. +1

+1 from me.

Fast, effective, and fun to play with/against.

Parallel Lives ?

If you want to/ever get bored, check out my Bant Scepter deck. It is the top one on my profile.

Possible place for Gavony Township as an alternate win?

I love splicers' synergy with other cards in standard such as Venser, the Sojourner , Glimmerpoint Stag , Intangible Virtue , and Parallel Lives . I use all of them to make a solid base of Golems so you don't need Shape Anew to win.

+1 for an effective use of splicers!

And look at my decks please. I need some comments. All of you.
