This deck is for a Modern FNM coming up. I wanted another take on my regular Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord builds- they are usually Devotion or Enchantress themed, but this one is more reliant on Flinging huge dudes with Jarad, where that is usually just a bonus he grants.

Splinterfright is an all-star, trampling past whatever may stand in his way. Bloodrush a Wasteland Viper on him for a ridiculous combat math trick- he grows from the Viper being in the yard, gets the +1/+2, and the Deathtouch causes Trample to be more than they bargained for. Splinterfright, Boneyard Wurm and Nighthowler just keep getting bigger, and Ghoultree is huge no matter if you cast him for or just . And, it is much better to Bestow Nighthowler so you can effectively Fling him twice.

Nyx Weaver is another solid player, milling every turn, and pulling back Exactly what you want from the graveyard, and makes running a single Whip of Erebos practical.

I recently picked up a Windswept Heath and a Polluted Delta, along with a Sidisi, Brood Tyrant, so I wanted to give him a try here- 1-10 free 2/2 Zombies every turn sounds like a good time. The Fetchlands along with Life from the Loam open up a light red splash for Kessig Wolf Run, and a sideboard with Syncopate, Mana Leak, and a single Slaughter Games. We'll see if it is consistent enough.

I wanted to run a playset of Shadowborn Demon, but I went with Thragtusk for the lifegain and extra body, and he gives more value when you Whip him back, but a 2/2 split may be correct.
