Continuing down the path of unique, out-of-the-box concepts, here's a Zurgo Helmsmasher token deck. Of course, it's been done before, but it's certainly not the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of the gorgeous brute (I am obviously referring to voltron).

Indeed, this is a go-wide, flood-the-board, kind of deck. I want to pressure my opponents into making bad decisions, especially regarding Zurgo. For example, I attack with a bunch of tokens and my commander; with a limited amount of blockers, they have to choose what gets through. No matter the verdict, I profit and they don't.

As a sub-theme (depending on how many such cards exist, this may become the main strategy of the deck), I'd like to be able to spread the wealth. All of my creatures gain this or that ability for whatever reason. Yes, slivers do this very efficiently. But slivers are not fun or original, so piss on them. Why not opt instead for a group hug strategy (but I'm only hugging myself). To

The deck will need the basics: mana ramp, card draw, and removal. As we're in Mardu, the first two may not be so easy. We can make up for the lack of land acceleration by running a bunch of mana rocks and maybe a solemn (but I am on a rather limited budget, so I'll have to consider it). In terms of card advantage, certain equipment and enchantments can help bridge the gap. I'm also prepared to take the classic black route of drawing cards: chucking my life out the window. But that's OK because I'll have rectangles of cardboard in my clutches. Finally, removal. Yeah, that's really not going to be a problem. With access to the best colors for it, the real difficulty will come with choosing from the extensive list.

To elaborate on the specifics of the deck, I need token generators, things that care about having a bunch of tokens, and PROTECTION. The first two are pretty straightforward, but I CANNOT stress the importance of the latter enough. My deck will suffer if my wraths off my own board. Thus, certain ones can be used to avoid this or diminish the loss.
