Have you considered Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip? It gives you an assured land drop on the next turn, puts a block on the board, and creates a second threat when you start dropping you're big stuff on seven lands (also tends to bait serious removal in my experience).

I added a singleton Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip, and while I don't remember playing one yesterday, it does feels good to have it.

Your deck was pretty sweet. You going to do the PPTQ this weekend?

I like the deck. I'd add 2 Reality Smasher to main board. Take out the Hydra and maybe 1 world breaker or ulamog. Why I say this is with all the aggressive decks out there. You gotta make it to turn 7+ to really start laying into them.

I'm not going to move 2 smashers to the MD. On turn 4,5,6 if I cannot afford to ramp, which is what this deck wants and needs to do in game one, then I am probably already losing and a smasher isn't going to stabilize my board. The crucial turns against the Wx and bant decks are the early ones, turns one thru three, when I need to be able to answer their early threats before I can start to ramp or during the same turn I am ramping. I could cut my big top-end for more midrange threats, but at that point I should just be playing jund or sultai seasons past.

Guess you just gotta weather the storm. The decks nice. Could probably side in more radiant flames and koz return on faster weenie aggro decks. Or maybe Dragonmaster Outcast
