Who would've thought at that Squirrels were such hungry critters? And that they specifically have a sweet tooth? That's just nuts if you ask me! ;P

For real though, it's one thing them being a kind of group, but the fact that they heavily rely on Food and Food Tokens is uniquely intriguing! :3c

Well right away, nothing beats Gingerbrute and its power of Haste, not to mention that it has an ability that can bypass anyone that doesn't have Haste either. You can find that little guy running along the Candy Trail! :P But the real beauty's in Scavenger's Talent; despite me not having enough copies of it in my library (I can only cram so many amazing cards in under the 60-card cap, lol), its effects are already plentiful in their own right. So much so that at times, I'm tempted to strategically make a creature take a bullet to gain more Food Tokens! Especially through a Squirrel like Vinereap Mentor who will gift you Food whether alive or dead!

Gotta have a Deathtouch intimidator like Osteomancer Adept who can let me bring back creatures with a Finality Counter on it for an additional cost of Food. "Daddy's gotta eat" as they say! XP We have Thornvault Forager serving mainly as the additional mana liability, but its other effect of letting me add a Squirrel from my library to my hand can come in clutch, especially if I need a certain three-mana creature out pronto (which I'll get to in a bit)! While Fell is amazing cost-effective kill spell, that's the Sorcery version! For the Instant variant, as long as you've got an additional Food Token or to spend, card:Feed the Cycle (BLB)Feed the Cycle (BLB) will even the odds as well!

In the three-mana category, Honored Dreyleader will get stronger the more Food and Squirrel friends he's surrounded by! Then if you want some sweet royalty with cheeky magic abilities, look no further than Camellia, the Seedmiser. Not only will she give all her Squirrel subjects Menace, but through a small mana fee and some Foraging, your frontlines will get stronger and stronger! She'll even pop out a Squirrel Token every time she activates that effect! 83

If you want some guaranteed Food Tokens, the high-cost Artifact, Transmutation Font, is a must for the library! But despite all these cute, hungry Squirrels residing in the library, it's the almighty Ygra, Eater of All that has the biggest appetite! OwO To that kitty, everything - even your opponent's creatures - is Food! Meow~! >:3

It takes some time to understand and utilize Foraging effectively, but it's definitely worth the effort! Keep the Squirrels well-fed, and they'll potentially feed you victories! ^w^
