I don't buy a ton of precons, but I am a squirrel enthusiast, so when Bloomburrow's Squirreled Away was announced I jumped right on it. I'd been wanting to build a squirrel deck for some time anyway, so this saved me a lot of work.

It's a pretty neat deck out of the box, with a tokens/aristocrats theme that goes beyond just "make a bunch of squirrels." You can make a bunch of squirrels, though, thanks in part to Hazel's second ability--and the first then uses those tokens to power some big plays. I was pretty happy with the deck as it came, but I've recently made a few tweaks of my own, so it's time to post it here.

A few of the notable changes are:

In: Camellia, the Seedmiser, Out:Plaguecrafter The deck isn't all-in on food, but there are enough ways to make it, and Camellia plays nicely with the rest of the deck in general.

In: Ygra, Eater of All, Out: Ogre Slumlord Speaking of food, here's one way to do it! Ygra gets big very quickly and plays nicely with other sacrifice effects in the deck, or just with any creature dying for any reason.

In: Thornvault Forager, Out:Wolfwillow Haven Potentially a good source of mana, and there are a ton of squirrels to find.

In: Mirkwood Bats, Out:Skyfisher Spider Always useful in a tokens deck.

In: Rottenmouth Viper, Out:Chittering Witch This isn't super synergistic, but it can potentially come out for cheap and start causing trouble. I haven't had a chance to play this yet, so I'll have to see how well it works out in the long run.
