Stack-Slaver Submission

Commander / EDH

bobbyboo

It's pretty obvious but Glissa, the Traitor has a great interaction with Smokestack, gravepact based effects as well as Mindslaver. With that in mind this deck was created to be anti aggression, it wants to hold off with its own creatures, creating a defensive line for you to amass a way to clear opponents boards whilst regrowing what you use to do so. Plague Boiler encapsulates this perfectly as it builds pressure every time it is ticked, slap a Darksteel Plate or Shield of Kaldra on Glissa, tick it up, then boom. To accompany the anti aggression stance of this deck it has nifty little interactions with Glissa like Viridian Longbow and Thornbite Staff, as well as bigger, more aggressive things like:

Glissa, the Traitor + Krark-Clan Ironworks + Noxious Gearhulk =4 mana to kill an opponents creature and gain life repeatedly at sorcery speed.

Glissa, the Traitor + Grave Pact + Sylvok Replica = 4 mana (one of which needs to be green) to make everyone sac a creature and destroy an artifact or enchantment.

When your opponents board states have been neutered is when you lash out, if the opponents are creature heavy then they will more often scoop once lock down has been achieved. For those pesky opponents that have the ability to outrun your pressure then Forbidden Orchard + Glissa, the Traitor + Mindslaver or Marionette Master will finish them off. Mimic Vat pulls weight as well as Clock of Omens, the two together haul ass and provide a great ulterior wincon with Myr Battlesphere and KCI
