Sometimes the best offense is a good defense. And if you make your opponent play by the same rules, chances are their defenses can't hit as heavily. If they want to try and break through with spells such as Lightning Bolt or something then side in your trusty Aegis of the Gods however, if they really want you dead the poor guy's going to get targeted heavily and that's where Elgaud Shieldmate comes in. Now, with those kinds of defenses, how many people do you think are going to be breaching your security barriers before the offensive weapon systems go off or they run out of time? Simple, not many. Only the prepared will. But how many people actually anticipate the requirement of being un-blockable in order to get through?

I can only think of two real hard counters to this deck. number one being an unblockable themed deck. The other being an all out black kill deck. and even then, I feel like this deck should be slightly capable of holding its own at least for a little while, especially against the kill deck.
