Stand Alone Complex (Legacy MTG Deck)

Unlike most of my builds were even before starting I already have a clear path for what I want that deck turn into, when I started build this one I did not had clear image of what path I wanted follow with it, but the one thing I was sure is that I wanted it to revolve around Equipment Combos. After some testing with all the equipments I had one it I started to really like 2 of this combos, the Fireshrieker + Quietus Spike combo and the Quietus Spike + Whispersilk Cloak combo, and was when I noticed this that I come up with the idea of turn this deck into a "one way tunnel" kind of deck that completely shuts downs my opponent creatures attack and give my creatures unblockable attacks powered up with the previous combos. To achieve this I will give this deck characteristics of both Voltron decks that will help create my one man army creature and Hate decks that will help shut down my opponent creatures attack.

Current Combos:

Kor Outfitter + Kor Skyfisher use Kor Skyfisher ability to bounce Kor Outfitter back to your hand so you can use his ability to equip one of your creatures for free when he enters the battlefield again. (1)
Kor Skyfisher + Stoneforge Mystic use Kor Skyfisher ability to bounce Stoneforge Mystic back to your hand so you can use her ability to search for an extra equipment on your library and place it on your hand when she enters the battlefield again. (1)
Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit + Kor Skyfisher any time a creature that was bounced out of the battlefield with Kor Skyfisher ability is casted into the battlefield again, the ability of Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit trigger given you the opportunity to Bolster 1 ( give a +1/+1 counter the creature with the least toughness among the creatures you control ) one of your creatures. (1)
Conjurer's Closet + Kor Outfitter use Conjurer's Closet ability to bounce Kor Outfitter out of the battlefield and in again so you can use his ability to equip one of your creatures for free. (1)
Conjurer's Closet + Stoneforge Mystic use Conjurer's Closet ability to bounce Stoneforge Mystic out of the battlefield and in again so you can use her ability to search for an equipment on your library and place it on your hand. (1)
Conjurer's Closet + Kor Skyfisher use Conjurer's Closet ability to bounce Kor Skyfisher out of the battlefield and in again so you can use his ability to bounce a permanent I control back to its owner hand. (1)
Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit + Conjurer's Closet any time a creature is bounced into the battlefield as part of Conjurer's Closet ability Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit ability will trigger given you the opportunity to Bolster 1 ( give a +1/+1 counter the creature with the least toughness among the creatures you control ) one of your creatures. (1)
Godsend + Strionic Resonator if the creature equipped with Godsend is blocked by 2 or more creatures you can use this combo to exile an extra creature.
Puresteel Paladin + Strionic Resonator draw an extra card when an equipment enters in the battlefield under your control.
Stoneforge Mystic + Strionic Resonator search for an extra equipment on your library and place it on your hand when Stoneforge Mystic enters in the battlefield.
Kor Outfitter + Strionic Resonator equip an extra equipment to one of your creatures when Kor Outfitter enters the battlefield.
Kor Skyfisher + Strionic Resonator bounce an extra permanent I control back to its owner hand when Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield.
Fireshrieker + Quietus Spike + Strionic Resonator this is a devastating combo capable of halve you opponent life up to 4 times. If you combine it with either Rogue's Passage or Whispersilk Cloak to makes the attacks unblockable or your opponents can not or does not block and you copy the Quietus Spike ability with Strionic Resonator for a total of 4 uses you will win the game as long your opponent as 20 life or less.
Rings of Brighthearth + Sculpting Steel + Strionic Resonator you can use Rings of Brighthearth to copy Strionic Resonator ability giving you a third extra use or / and use Sculpting Steel to copy either of them for even more replication.
Darksteel Plate + Whispersilk Cloak transforms equipped creature into an Indestructible, Shrouded and Unblockable creature.
- You can still be forced to sacrifice this creature.
- Darksteel Plate must always be equipped first because Whispersilk Cloak will make you unable to equip anything after you equip it since it make the equipped creature unable to be target and equip counts as targeting it.
Darksteel Plate + General's Kabuto transforms equipped creature into an Indestructible, Shrouded and Immune to damage creature.
- You can still be forced to sacrifice this creature.
- Darksteel Plate must always be equipped first because General's Kabuto will make you unable to equip anything after you equip it since it make the equipped creature unable to be target and equip counts as targeting it.
Crawlspace + Maze of Ith + Maze of Ith shuts down your opponent attack by forcing him to attack with only 2 creatures and use a Maze of Ith in each one of those creatures to render them useless.
Maze of Ith + Silent Arbiter shuts down your opponent attack by forcing him to attack with only 1 creatures and use a Maze of Ith render that creature useless.
Fireshrieker + Quietus Spike + Silent Arbiter grants an one on one creature face off were your creature as double strike, deathtouch and the ability to halve the opponent life when it hits him. Combined with Darksteel Plate makes sure that your creature survives the face off and that you kill one of your opponent creatures and halve his life ( this may not be true if other factors like protections or player hexproof are in play )
Quietus Spike + Silent Arbiter + Whispersilk Cloak grants an unblockable attack against you opponent that will cut is life by half.
- Quietus Spike must always be equipped first because Whispersilk Cloak will make you unable to equip anything after you equip it since it make the equipped creature unable to be target and equip counts as targeting it.
Quietus Spike + Rogue's Passage + Silent Arbiter grants an unblockable attack against you opponent that will cut is life by half.

(1) This combo will be impossible to use if the target creature is equipped with either Whispersilk Cloak or General's Kabuto as they remove your ability to target that creature.

Minor Update (5.0) — April 6, 2015

Just a minor update to remove a card that has been given me some problems for a card just released that will greatly Improve the overall power of the deck.

Cards removed and reason:

Ethersworn Canonist: this card was from the time I added it to the deck a double-edge blade that could either greatly help me in one game as well as bring my downfall in the next one. Since I got tired of have to deal with this card any time it was on the field and I wanted to use any of the combos involving Conjurer's Closet or Kor Skyfisher, I decided remove it from the main deck.

Cards added and reason:

Taking the place of Ethersworn Canonist is Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit a creature that works extremely well with this deck and as great combo synergy with both Conjurer's Closet and Kor Skyfisher. This way I'm removing the last anti-synergy card in this deck as well as giving a major upgrade to its combo capabilities.
