evil_wazard good call, yeah it's a pretty sick combo. Thinking Mizzium Meddler in the side could be used to protect Scuttlesworth from exile removal. Thanks for the feedback!

Surely Temple of Epiphany is better than Swiftwater Cliffs? Am I missing something here? Isn't scry 1 more valuable than 1 life? Am I a noob?

ThisNameUnavailable I think you're right, the lifegain is slightly relevant because this deck doesn't have much defense but I think assembling combos is more important. Good call, thank you. Would be a good thread question...

tomb of spirit dragon can provide you with some lifegain if you want.

Jdvanliew hey thanks for the feedback. I've considered Hangarback Walker but besides being removal resilient it doesn't do too much. Will have to experiment. As far as removing Chief Engineer, I think the reason I like him is he allows me to get Scuttling Doom Engine early, he curves into Thopter Engineer into Whirler Rogue to net 6 creatures by turn 4, which allows me to also convoke the Doom Engine on 4, and he has haste so next turn I can swing again (unblockable with Whirler) then blow him up with Shrapnel Blast for the win. So it's more of a combo deck than a swarm deck, and Bonded Construct doesn't do much. The other creatures all provide some utility (haste, unblockable, artifact convoke, ramp, free to cast for use with Springleaf Drum, pump the team). Obviously after rotation both suggestions will be added in though

One of the better exile removal effects is Abzan Charm. If scuttlesworth gets target by that, I'm not sure Mizzium Meddler can change the target of that spell because he's not the correct stats, power 3 or greater. But I'm not sure, should probably check into that to be safe tho.

Behgz you are correct you'd need to have a Stubborn Denial or Negate available, I'll have to watch for them leaving open. Good call, thank you

Nice deck +1 from me. I'm considering buying the thopter deck for my wife. Have you taken this to an FNM to see how it performs?

This doesn't have tokens for people who want to play test on the site. Otherwise, it's a good deck and cheap. +1.

This is nice. I'm looking into making a Standard artifact deck as well.
Scuttling Doom Engine + Shrapnel Blast combo could be 17 damage to your opponents face if they can't block the Doom Engine, or if you use Whirler Rogue's ability to make it unblockable. Just attack first and then combo.
+1
