You overlooked Reality Shift removal spell that mills one and it gets around gods and Fleecemane Lion
I made a deck similar. Dropped in Wall of Frost slows them down nicely, Jeskai Sage more card draw, Sidisi's Faithful to bounce against lategame decks or defend against aggro and Chasm Skulker for board presense
I wasn't sold on Dark Deal myself. I guess it does fuel treasure cruise but it can end up being bad for you in some cases. I'd drop that and anticipate for Taigam's Scheming if you want fuel for cruise and Mind Sculpt for more mill.
Plus 1 for great minds thinking alike : )

Yeah, those cards were looked at, and decided against them in the earlier comments. There aren't too many Gods running around because Dromoka's Command is all over the place, and Fleecemane Lion isn't an issue because of Languish- but you couldn't target him with the shift if he's monstrous anyway. And Mind Sculpt was also passed over because it just wasn't good enough.
And I'm not sure why you wouldn't be sold on Dark Deal, esp if you were running Chasm Skulker- those 2 go hand in hand... just like the deal does with Sphinx's Tutelage. You should have a relatively full hand with as much card draw as the deck runs, so the deal now triggers the Tutelage X times, and makes them draw as well. You have more than 1 Tutelage out and it get's crazy.

Day's Undoing and Talent of the Telepath were already dismissed for being too circumstantial. You can hunt through the previous comments and updates to see the full conversation.
As for Altar of the Brood, this deck does not run enough permanents to make that really viable in this deck. The slots in the deck are better used for other cards which have better synergy with Sphinx's Tutelage.
Thank you for the comment and viewing my deck FYREKNIGHT!

@FYREKNIGHT- Day's Undoing and Sphinx's Tutelage don't interact. You would draw from Day's Undoing and this would trigger Sphinx's Tutelage while Day's Undoing is still resolving. Those triggers will go on the stack and remain there until Day's Undoing in done resolving. Because you end your turn due to Day's Undoing, anything on the stack is exiled so the Sphinx's Tutelage triggers will cease to exist. This is also why Day's Undoing doesn't intereact with Nekusar, the Mindrazer
July 12, 2015 1:14 p.m.
you said thats Day's Undoing and Sphinx's Tutelage don't interact, but it is wrong. THere is some rules for this situation -If any triggered abilities do trigger during this process, they're put onto the stack during the cleanup step. If this happens, players will have a chance to cast spells and activate abilities, then there will be another cleanup step before the turn finally ends.

The issue with Day's Undoing is not about the trigger. It is just not a good fit for this deck. Each player shuffles their graveyard into their library, and I realize that the drawing triggers come after, but it is still too circumstantial. The card would have to be drawn early enough that the triggers from the Day's Undoing would be greater than the cards in the graveyard. You can see the full discussion in earlier comments if you wish, thank you for your interest.

I did not include Bile Blight because Ultimate Price deals with a lot of the creatures that Bile Blight did. Things like Zurgo Bellstriker and other mono aggro stuff. Though Bile Blight may be a better card, I'll definitely consider it, thanks.

Hey I really like this deck. I'm no expert, but I've found during playtesting that it struggles this deck struggles against red/blue artifacts, especially when Ensoul Artifact is involved, as ultimate price can't hit it and it's too big for Languish.
Of course maybe the crux of fate helps, but with ensoul being a two dropped you might not even survive that long. Some of your maybeboard would help I think, like reality shift.

@MoronicCinamun- I think the question is how popular UR-Artifacts is in the OP's meta. I haven't seen UR-Artifacts be relevant in any of the two metas I am part of. It's a niche deck that doesn't see much play. There is no real need to prepare a deck for a scenario that isn't relevant.

MoronicCinamun, thank you for viewing and for the advice! As well as army88strong I have not played against much U/R Artifacts, but the suggestion of Reality Shift is becoming too common to ignore. I'm going to start playtesting with it, and if I like it, its going in! This deck changes frequently, so we will see. Another good option for Ensoul Artifact is Negate, but mana needs to be open for that to help.

Okay, everybody! The time has come where I am able to playtest this deck among other standard rivals! This will largely help in improving the deck, and will test the strategy to the fullest. I invite you all to do the same, and tell me how your games turn out! I will post my game results in the comments, thank you!

Is it possible to build a more budget version, not one that will cost 200 usd?
July 14, 2015 1:56 p.m.
Take out the Polluted Delta- add 2 swamp and 2 island- will save you about $72.00. The Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is another $8.00... 5 cards saves you $80.00 and only effects the deck in a minor way...

Taking out those lands will do a great job in slashing down the price, and if you would like to go further, replace the Ashiok, Nightmare Weavers with Infinite Obliterations. That will do a fairly good to replace Ashiok. I'm hoping for the price of Languish to drop, but if you need more budget, switch out 2 Languish with 2 Crux of Fate and maybe sideboard Drown in Sorrow. I also expect the price of Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip to plummet, Jace, the Living Guildpact is only a couple of bucks. Glad you enjoy the deck Kakadu!

Hey, I dig it. Cant wait to hear how testing goes.
I've been working a similar angle but with Day's Undoing and Fate Unraveler punishing their draws even more.
Dark Deal into Day's Undoing with Fate Unraveler is pretty mean, but having Chasm Skulker in play makes it even sweeter.

Hmmm.... that sounds like an interesting build eyesnine, I'll definitely check it out. I love a deck with so many win cons!
July 14, 2015 9:05 p.m.
It's a bit light on removal, but I figured fill the board with removal based on the meta that you could side into rather than main board a bunch of removal that may or may not be right for the match up.

Yeah I pulled a Sphinx Tutelage in my prerelease and it instantly made me want to make a mill deck but you beat me to it. Im hoping there will be enough mill cards in BtK to replace all the older sets in this deck

@Ochvozhni. It got milled from the top to the graveyard. Cruel cruel irony.
