This is the latest brew that i have been piloting for standard. Win percentages are in the mid 80%. Hard Matches is RW Humans and the Jund Good stuff can get ahead. This deck requires a fearless pilot who is willing to make necessary sacrifices. Gideon has been in and out of the deck a few times now along with a second copy of Kefnet. I think both of these calls are meta based as usually drake haven is just a better play. Probably going to add the 4th haven to the main at some point as seeing 2 is almost never a bad thing. Westvale was occupying 1 of the spawning bed slots and very rarely was ever used while spawning bed can work wonders and is activated almost every game. May change back to the 1 and 1 split without gideons in the main though as the beds lose a little of the threat factor. Scatter to the Winds and Planar Outburst are odd choices over there commonly played counterparts but seem to fit well in this build of control that needs the extra win conditions. The awaken on both of these cards can create very awkward board swings for your opponent. Commit / Memory has been played around with but is often not necessary but may go back in to complement the gearhulks. Enjoy and thanks for the veiw. As always please feel free to comment.
