Standard white-green midrange.

Early game, the plan is to get plenty of explore creatures in Merfolk Branchwalker, Tishana's Wayfinder and Emissary of Sunrise down to help defend against aggro and apply pressure against control. Hopefully we can get a Shapers' Sanctuary down on turn 1 to generate some card advantage if our creatures get spot removed.Mid-game we can get down some Bristling Hydras to apply more pressure or Cast Out to remove some of our opponent's threats. Gideon of the Trials also adds another threat to our repertoire.

Turns 5 and 6 is where this deck really begins to come alive. Our turn 5/6 bombs in Angel of Sanctions and Ajani Unyielding offer exile removal for our opponent's creatures, and Nissa, Vital Force can keep up the pressure and help with card advantage with her emblem. This exile removal really helps in the Ixalan format where Scarab God and indestructible gods exist.

We also have a few instant speed tricks to help protect our creatures in Blossoming Defense and Sheltering Light. They are cheap to cast and force our opponents to consider us having them.

Our manabase covers a wide variety of utility. Scavenger Grounds helps deal with graveyard based decks, and Hashep Oasis acts as both a land and an expensive pump spell. Scattered Groves gives us a dual land that synergises with Sunpetal Grove, and also can give us a redraw if we draw it late game.

Our sideboard should vary based on what our meta shapes up to be, but the listed board covers many bases. Against artifact matchups, Dissenter's Deliverance , in enchantment based matchups Crushing Canopy (which can also be used against big flyers) and Demystify, in creature matchups Settle the Wreckage and Fumigate, against control Lifecrafter's Bestiary and Heroic Intervention, and finally Authority of the Consuls for aggro.
