Dude, I love the take on it! I'm especially fond of your additions of Descent into Madness (one of my favourite flavour cards of all time, even if I'm not always comfortable with playing it), Stoneshaker Shaman (I didn't even know that was a card!), and Smokestack. I found Lightning Reaver to be underwhelming in my own deck, so I replaced him with better curve. You obviously have a better collection or better budget than I have, because I don't have access to some of the damn good removal cards you've got holed up in this deck. May I recommend considering exchanging Lightning Reaver for Syphon Mind or Unnerve?

+1, because there is no way in heaven, hell, or purgatory that I'm not +1ing a deck built off of one of my own. Love it.

Hey, my Mogis list hadn't been updated for almost a year, check it out again and it will be drastically different.

Some of the more noticeable changes would be that I have way less group hate than you. The problem I had was people started focusing me even though I was far from the biggest threat, mainly because it collided with their deck strategy (Durdle and get insane value) so they wanted me dead to prevent their life from slowly slipping away.

So now there's more control and less group slug, although there's still a decent amount.

You should totally add more "Deal X damage to each creature and player" effects, they are the best at finishing out games. Once people go down to 10-15 HP, they go into hyper defensive mode and do everything they can to get rid of you, those boardwipes give you a way to finish up the game in the late, and a boardwipe in the early.

Also goes SO well with Repercussion and Stuffy Doll. Often win games with Blasphemous Act + Repercussion.

So a while ago, I took my Mogis Hellbent deck which you might remember, added white, and turned it into this.

It's faster now, still has some control and stax points of emphasis, but can end the game much faster while still proving a pain in the butt. See, I found that Mogis, while being a pain, didn't actually provide me much chance of winning because it meant more often than not I gave everyone else too much time. Now I can at least force their hand, and if they have no answers, win. I'm curious what you think of the changes, especially as there are still key similarities between it and the deck that you said inspired you to build this in the first place.

Ooh i really like this build. I have an extreme soft spot for malefegor. In a game i once played him and forced an opponent to sac a Mossbridge Troll a. Spearbreaker Behemoth and a Progenitus!!! Also he boasts the coolest creature type in magic and a super cool flavor text. +1
