Instil :Honestly, they are more of a 'Ohh hey look, i didn't end it quickly, i need something to help stabilize me' And what would you suggest over Temple of Triumph
OpenFire: Madcap Skills : Defintly could make it in, i think i even have copies of it, as well as Nyxborn Shieldmate . Fabled Hero is a maybe. Soldier of the Pantheon I'm not really sold on. I mean, it's a great card, but it really doesn't go with what i was imaging for the deck

I feel like this is stuck between aggro and midrange.
If you want it to be aggro, you should cut everything that costs more than 4 and decide if you want this to be a Heroic deck or not. If so, Favored Hoplite , Hero of Iroas , and Fabled Hero would be good additions, as would Auras like Madcap Skills , Ethereal Armor , and Eidolon of Countless Battles . If not, Soldier of the Pantheon , Precinct Captain , and Firefist Striker are efficient bodies, and you could replace Heroic triggering spells like Coordinated Assault with anthem effects like Spear of Heliod and Path of Bravery . Ajani, Caller of the Pride fits well into either aggro strategy.
For midrange, cut out all of the Heroic guys and pumps and add in more removal, such as Banisher Priest and Lightning Strike . Boros Reckoner would be a must-have as well, as would Stormbreath Dragon . Archangel of Thune is great for stabilizing with life gain and deadly with Aurelia and/or Assemble the Legion. If most of your removal is instants and sorceries, Young Pyromancer would be good as well.
In any case, I agree that Foundry Champion is just plain not good.

ChrisHansonBiomancin: Okay, i guess i can see the point with Foundry Champion, and i will reduce the amount of 5+ cards ((Only have 3 now, simply as dropping one of them, especially Angelic Skirmisher if the game goes to 6 can=insta-win.
My main problem with Soldier of the Pantheon is the shop i go to for FNM is heavily mono-color and my friends i play with are the same. He just wouldn't have the effect for me as he would you. Madcap Skills is something i fully intended to add. And i was in fact planning on putting in Favored Hoplite . Wanna give me some variation to my 1 drop so i don't necessarily have to drop a shock land. And i may just add in Ajani, Caller of the Pride , as i've always wanted to run a plainswalker and i've never had the chance.

Akroan Crusader is strictly a worse 1 drop than Soldier of the Pantheon . In aggro decks, he's not played for his effect. He's played because it's a 2/1 that comes out first turn. His effect, while nice, is not always necessary. I would much rather play him turn 1 and start bashing face than to play an Akroan Crusader .
February 4, 2014 12:36 p.m.
Trilient Ehh....i guess you're right. Switching over to Soldier of the Pantheon would also decrease my need for the shock lands, although they will still probably stay in there.

I would recommend taking out Aurelia, Assemble the Legion, Angelic Skirmisher and maybe Spark Trooper. You are only running 22 lands, you don't want anything above a 4 drop, and that is pushing it.
You definitely need some protection for your creatures, so maybe add some Gods Willing . You should also run at least a few 3 drops. Some particularly good ones are Fabled Hero , Eidolon of Countless Battles , and Gift of Orzhova
February 9, 2014 12:28 p.m.
drop the Angelic Skirmisher
,i know she's awesome, but she really just costs to much for this deck, and she really isn't the automatic game winner Aurelia is. I'd use that spot for one more Phalanx Leader
, and I'm not sure about spark trooper. It can pack a lot of damage, but its essentially 4 mana for up to six damage since you don't run any battallion. Life shouldn't be a problem for you, because you want to win by turn 4-5 anyway.
February 9, 2014 12:32 p.m.
Alright, i added one more Phalanx Leader and 3 Gods Willing The other cards you suggested raithe000 weren't bad, but there are better options. Plus, i am to end on turn 3, so i don't want to summon a creature on 3.
February 9, 2014 12:41 p.m.
Out of curiosity, how are you planning to win on turn 3?
February 9, 2014 12:46 p.m.
Plains or Sacred Foundry into either Soldier of the Pantheon or Favored Hoplite . Turn 2 Mountain or Plains Need 2 mountains by turn 3, cast Madcap Skills Swing for 5, turn 3 land card, Titan's Strength and Boros Charm . It's easier then it sounds, i don't have a lot of trouble pulling it off.

It may not seem like much, but all damage, even 1 on turn 1, is good damage when running aggro.
February 9, 2014 11:58 p.m.
He doesn't really fit into my deck all that well. Battalion is not something i will ever, hopefully, need and i'd rather have the protections that Soldier of the Pantheon ((Multi-colored)) and Rakdos Cackler ((Black)), my current choices, provide.

Having Akroan Hoplite in your deck counteracts your last comment. You want Battalion abilities if you use a card like Akroan Hoplite

Honestly, he's more of a gem from the first set up this deck ran, he's gonna be cut very soon.

Okay good :) I would say use Fabled Hero or Boros Reckoner in place of Akroan Hoplite .
February 24, 2014 12:59 p.m.
I may add in two Reckoner, as i'm thinking of taking out the temples. I need untap mana, not taped ones.

I also have a Boros Aggro Deck, modern and stadnard.
Foundry Champion is ways to slow for aggro. Same with Aurelia, the Warleader . They are good yes, but there are better opinions, like: Precinct Captain or Imposing Sovereign .
Same with Temple of Triumph .
Later this afternoon i will load my deck up here so you can get a few ideas maybe.
