This was my standard deck back when it was Theros - Dragons of Tarkir. However, it moved to Modern once Origins came out, and I was looking to improve it. It's a pretty sweet deck, and it's served me very well. What I like most about it is how cheap it is. It's mostly commons, a lot of which I got with the M15 Deckbuilder's Toolkit. It's since evolved into something I'm really proud of.

The strategy behind this deck is very simple. Ramp your mana quickly to get out your bigger creatures. Ramp is achieved via the Elvish Mystic's and Golden Hind's. Another big piece to this deck is to quickly beef up your creatures and give them trample. Cards like Titanic Growth, Awaken the Bear, and Tread Upon are good at this. It's actually beneficial to apply these to your cheap creatures early, because it gives them protection from burn spells and later on Stampeding Elk Herd comes through and gives all the creatures trample anyways. Sedge Scorpion is good because it's able to put up a defense against anything that may be swinging against you. It's also nice because if you swing with a 1/1 deathtouch, no one even thinks about blocking it. So when they decide to take, nab them with a Titanic Growth. Boom, big hit.

Quick, cheap spells make this deck roll. But it's imperative to keep swinging, and swinging hard. Because it loses steam if the game lasts longer than 10 turns. But if you can finish quick, boy is it fun.

Now that it's modern, I was wondering if there are any suggestions out there that could replace some of these cards and make it more powerful. A couple cards people of suggested to me are fight cards, but I've shied away from those because the goal is to swing at your opponents life rather than creatures.
