A fast over-running elves deck composed mainly by mighty and constantly growing warriors smashing through the boundaries and storming through the burning fields, ready to ground and pound.(+10% increased winning chance if listening to Dragonforce - Operation Ground and Pound)
Mechanics
Bramblewood Paragon will put many counters on many creatures, since most of them are warriors.
Joraga Warcaller will give +1/+1 to each other elf for each +1/+1 counter on it. Most of your creatures are also elves.
Quest for the Gemblades
will put FOUR +1/+1 counters on target creature and it is incredibly easy to activate.
Hardened Scales will buff all previously mentioned +1/+1 counter stuff.
Imperious Perfect will also give +1/+1 to all your other elves out there. She is a warrior herself and puts Elf Warrior Tokens onto the battlefield, it's insanely awesome in this deck. Those tokens will enter the battlefield as a 1/1 that goes up to 2/2 because of Imperious Perfect, and would gain a counter from Bramblewood Paragon making it a 3/3 that could be a 4/4 if a Hardened Scales was on the battlefield. Is it enough? Before your turn ends, don't forget to tap Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to give those tokens (and all other creatures you've just played) another pair of counters.A 6/6 token with trample is what you get by tapping your Imperious Perfect. It's no one-turn-thing-and-Im-out-of-moves, you waste CERO cards while doing this and you'll repeat it every turn. This is not a super impossible combo in the need of tutors, this can and will happen, sometimes just for a third of the whole buff, sometimes for the full. I didn't even mentioned the four +1/+1 counters from
Quest for the Gemblades
nor the extra counter from
Llanowar Reborn
. The best thing is that you won't even need this.
Solid base
You don't even have to rely on buffing your elvish warriors with all the previous counter-crap I've just mentioned. You have 4x
Wren's Run Vanquisher
, a neat 2-drop 3/3 with deathtouch; 3x
Talara's Battalion
, another 2-drop, this one's 4/3 trample. Both of them are elves and warriors, so worst case scenario you'll have those beasts in game to stomp your enemy. But you will probably have SO MUCH MORE, and they will grow and grow.
Even your 1-drops Nettle Sentinel are more than decent war-machines. They'll enter the battlefield bigger than a 2/2 because one of your many tricks to buff them.
Even
Dwynen's Elite
, a 2-drop 2/2 elf warrior will boost your army. Don't forget it puts an elf warrior token into play, getting all bennefits from being both elf and warrior:
Bramblewood Paragon +1/+1 counter
Llanowar Reborn
+1/+1 counter
Oran-Rief, the Vastwood +1/+1 counter
Quest for the Gemblades
+4/+4 counters
Hardened Scales +1/+1 counter for each time counters were added
Imperious Perfect static +1/+1
Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen static +1/+1
Joraga Warcaller static +x/+x
Ezuri, Renegade Leader +3/+3 till end of turn
Believe me, they'll grow up like marihuana weeds.
Let's picture a crappy situation
You have two or three creatures including Bramblewood Paragon and some few lands. You play Joraga Warcaller kicking it only once, it would enter the battlefield with only two +1/+1 counters. Then the rest of your creatures, that are most likely 2/2 or 3/3 will gain +2/+2 from Joraga; this means you would be potentially dealing around 17 points of combat damage. It's crazy how each single aditional counter on Joraga Warcaller is exponentially harmful.
The infiltrated one
Champion of Lambholt might be a human spy surrounded by elves, but she's also a warrior and a good friend. She will allow you to hit with all your shit unblocked. She gains a counter each time a creature/token enters the battlefield, but that's not even it... she'll enter the battlefield and instantly recieve counters from all your other sources. Bramblewood Paragon buffs her, and so does all your remaining dirty tricks.
Re-fuel potential
Doubling Chant
will double up your army and the new guys will get all buffs from counters and stuff, so the newcomers will probably be stronger than the ones already in the battlefield.
No need to explain
Descendants' Path
power. If you've played all cards in your hand, this enchantment will work as a Phyrexian Arena on steroids; remember you get to trigger it's ability at the beggining of your unkeep step and then you also draw a card due to your draw step.
Imperious Perfect can and will help when you run out of cards in hand, spamming the field with giagantic elvish warriors.
With the previously mentioned cards the deck won't run out of fuel.
Thank you for reading :) You rock!
