For a deck with no dual-lands, you have a lot of cards with very colour- intense mana costs here; Turntimber Basilisk , Dash Hopes , Slith Bloodletter and Ohran Viper are going to struggle coming out exactly when you want them too. Either cut down on these kind of cards, or put in some good dual-lands like Overgrown Tomb or Twilight Mire . Or, if you are on a budget, Golgari Guildgate or Terramorphic Expanse /Evolving Wilds .

Yeah, the mana ramping is a little iffy, though when playtesting it usually came out okay. I do agree that I need more dual lands though.

The mana-ramping is fine, the mana-fixing is the problem. You will really struggle to get Slith Bloodletter on turn two for example, and if you do you won't have much like struggling with casting that Ohran Viper turn three to help it.
If the plan is to ramp up to the gorgons, what on earth is the Turntimber Basilisk , Spawnwrithe and some other things for? How about actually getting those gorgons into your hand? I recommend Fierce Empath , Increasing Ambition or card:Green Sun's Zenith to help fetch out those gorgons. You should also have defensive creatures to shore up before you do get them out, like Giant Scorpion or Carven Caryatid or something.

Thematically, you are in dire need of Elves of Deep Shadow .
Cultivate is very popular for a good reason! It is such ramp bread and butter card. Ditch Caravan Vigil for it. I would probably put 24 land if I were you.
I like the theme of this deck, by the way. Gift of the Deity might fit in well, or perhaps Cankerous Thirst , while we're talking Eventide.

Actually, keeping the Caravan Vigil s might not be so bad. Try Cultivate and Caravan Vigil and see what happens if you drop Mwonvuli Acid-Moss ; its a higher costing ramp card that may end up stuck in your hand more often than the other two options.

Alright, thanks for the tips! The reason I had Turntimber Basilisk was for use until I got out Sisters of Stone Death , and the creatures like Spawnwrithe were there to take advantage of the openings caused by the sisters. Though I see now that it was a bit iffy, because if I didn't get out the sisters, they were "meh."

Treasured Find and Vraska the Unseen for the flavor and thematic aspect :-D
I concur with Elves of Deep Shadow . Great card!
You'd be better off with Birds of Paradise over Joraga Treespeaker . I've noted that the mana investment isn't always worth it with the levelers. Plus, BoP offers any color of mana v.s. GG.
I'd rather see 4x Lotus Cobra /Utopia Tree /Overgrown Battlement etc. in the place of Slith Bloodletter . For Lotus Cobra you'll need Verdant Catacombs , Marsh Flats , Misty Rainforest , Terramorphic Expanse /Evolving Wilds for maximum benefit (paired w/ ramp spells of course).
Rampant Growth does amazing things, as does Solemn Simulacrum . BTW I dig your use of Viridian Emissary ; he's one of my personal favorites.
Deathrite Shaman + fetchlands + dead creatures + used spells = AWESOMESAUCE!!!!
Ramp decks should have at LEAST 24 if not 25-26 lands.
Overgrown Tomb , Woodland Cemetery , Transguild Promenade , City of Brass , Golgari Keyrune , Chromatic Lantern , Vivid Marsh , Llanowar Wastes , Pine Barrens , Tainted Wood , Gilt-Leaf Palace , Golgari Rot Farm , Undiscovered Paradise , etc. for mana fixing.

Dude I love this Gorgon deck idea! But your gorgons should make more friends, like Damia, Sage of Stone and Visara the Dreadful , oh and Vraska the Unseen is a must too! (Seriously, splashing blue with cards like Dimir Aqueduct or Simic Growth Chamber would be easy enough, and those lands would make sure you always have enough mana to cast them in the late game.)
Since deathtouch has a gorgon feel to it with petrification and all, my other suggestion for the early game would be Glissa, the Traitor . Don't care if you don't have any artifacts, she's still a fast petrifying bitch :) Like a baby gorgon really ;) Thornweald Archer also petrifies his targets with cockatrice feathers (check out his flavor text loll), so he'd qualify. Plus, both would provide your deck with early defense to ensure you reach the mana count necessary to cast your big gorgons.
Oh, one last idea... No Mercy . Dude! YOU would get to petrify each creature fool enough to cross your gaze!!! ;)
Now I want to make a gorgon deck too Loll
+1 for the idea :)

Awesome tips!
Yeah, I will definitely put in more lands. I really enjoy the vivid lands (Vivid Marsh ) as well as Llanowar Wastes , so I may well use those. Golgari Keyrune would serve me well also, since it is not only mana, but deathtouch as well.
@Askani Damia is good alright... but I dunno if she's worth splashing blue for. She doesn't really go with the rest of the deck except that she's a gorgon, and she's another really expensive card to play. I love me some Glissa though!

Hey you inspired me, so I made a gorgon deck too :) I had Sisters of Stone Death since the old Ravnica block, but never really got to play it, thought she needed too much mana to be useful. But with the right mana she's awesome! She can wipe an entire board in a single sweep! She can even petrify Emrakul, the Aeons Torn ! Haha I love her. If you wanna check it out: Statue Gardens of Iboria, I need ideas, mostly for the sideboard.
If you have trouble keeping your Gorgons in one piece, try sideboarding Asceticism !

Run more elves in place of Caravan Vigil
Lure + Tangle Asp is a vile combination though Ohran Viper 's card draw isnt worth losing
Maybe run Harvester of Souls and Blood Artist . i guess a lot of things die when this deck plays properly.
I'd run Golgari Charm if your meta runs Supreme Verdict in place of Dash Hopes
At least For flavor purposes, i'd consider Vraska the Unseen and Treasured Find . They're still really good cards though. Treasured find just isnt the same as Eternal Witness though :P

I think you might like the flavor of my deck to - Death by numbers
