This is a deck idea using peices of other decks I've seen; making it for a friend of mine. As the title states, the main two cards in this combo are Puresteel Paladin and Stoneforge Mystic, pulling out the equipments and attatching them for free while drawing cards.
For a fast win, I go for either Argentum Armor, Elbrus, the Binding Blade
, or Batterskull depending on the deck I'm playing against/ my own draws. Another brutal combo is either just Worldslayer and Shield of Kaldra on a creature, or even better with Helm of Kaldra, Sword of Kaldra, Shield of Kaldra, and Worldslayer for a 9/9 that destroys all permanents but his own indestructible self each attack.
Other cards in this deck that do work;
Squadron Hawk- evasion and pulls bodies for me to drop equipment on
Glaring Spotlight- helps my metalcraft, allows me to Dispatch or Oblivion Ring hp threats, makes my guys hp and unblockable, oh and also those two cards rock socks
Brass Squire- another, slightly less effective, Puresteel. However, instant-speed equips are mean, like swinging with a Hawk, they don't block thinking they're taking one damage, then tapping Squire and throwing Elbrus or Argentum on it. Mean.
Cloudshift, Steelshaper's Gift- bounce Stoneforge, both tutor for an equipment
