Alright let’s get this out of the way. This is a meme and a half but it’s a good fucking meme. Is it optimal? Absolutely not. I’ll let somebody that wants to put in the time have fun with that.
Alright the goal of this deck is simple: cycle your dudes away, cast Songs of the Damned, mass reanimate the team, and cycle to victory.
Your goal is to utilize the synergy of one mana cyclers fueling Songs of the Damned and Shadow of the Grave. Play Fluctuator to make those cheeky cyclers into Simian Spirit Guides that draw cards. Hell. Yeah!
This deck could be mono black or splash a smorgasbord of colors to get various sideboard pieces and help cast some of the cyclers as a back up plan (not unreasonable but way less cool).
I’ve considered plenty of different win cons but have settled with Syr Konrad for now. He works very well with the cyclers/reanimation/Shadow of the Grave, can be cast off Songs of the Damned, is an outlet for excess mana, and is way more fun than just casting Lurrus. There, I said it.
Other builds I’ve considered are adding Lurrus like everybody else, Garna as an overpriced Shadow of the Grave that also gives haste for the mass reanimation plan and puts us in red to take advantage of Faithless Looting, playing a couple Regrowth effects main deck, and swapping the reanimation effect to Rally the Ancestors. All of them seem promising in their own way although Rally seems a bit rough. There’s also a good chance the blue cyclers are just worth it. Cards like Rebuild seem perfect for the sideboard.
Hope you like the deck and can at least go 1-3 drop in your next league!
