This deck is spicyyyyyy. I wanted to make a Voltron style deck for quite some time but if you want to build a powerful, regular EDH deck you may be spending $600-$1000. As with most Voltron decks your main goal is keeping your commander alive so he can keep dishing out massive damage. When you put too much real estate into pump spells it usually means you don’t have many blockers to keep you from dying. I decided I’d keep a decent creature base for that reason. There’s nothing worse than relying completely on your commander, especially when you can’t afford to cast him from commander tax. I also tried to include as much vigilance as possible (though pauper vigilance cards are few and far between outside of white). Your commander even with the larger creature base can easily be your most important blocker. I included monarch cards since it’s going to be really hard for your opponents to block an unblockable creature. You are basically guaranteed to keep monarch while your commander is alive. Your commander can also burst out of no where. My favorite play test so far yielded a player kill turn 5 commander damage using [Brute Force] + [Built to Smash] + [Temur Battlerage].
