I think Ballyrush Banneret in conjunction with Preeminent Captain could serve you well. I like the idea here

You could also consider Brave the Elements for blocks and unblockables and Rebuff the Wicked just for some more counterspells along with your Restoration Angel.

I'm a little biased on this since I have a Kithkin deck, but I really love Militia's Pride as with Soldier or Kithkin buffs those tokens can be real nasty.

Actually... wouldn't Brave the Elements be a suitable replacement for Emerge Unscathed?

Brave the Elements would be nice because it protects all creatures; but the rebound on Emerge Unscathed is pretty clutch because Preeminent Captain has to attack for his effect to trigger, therefore he is pretty vulnerable to being blocked to death... Emerge Unscathed allows two free swings with him with just one card

Thank you for the suggestions though, Ballyrush Banneret and Militia's Pride are both worth testing out.

Ah, I understand. It gives you free soldiers for quite a few turns. Nice.

Be sure to tell us how how Ballyrush Banneret and Militia's Pride works out!

You might also consider Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as another option to get your bigger creatures out.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is awesome with something like Voyaging Satyr.

No problem. I've got a deck similar to this call Devoted soldiers. Feel free to go to my page and check it out for ideas.

@PerfectDisguise + PierreThePlaneswalker

Pierre said to let yous dudes know how the testing went so I figured I would give you an update.

So I subed in Ballyrush Banneret for another 2drop: Wall of Omens, because I like Lightning Greaves for the hasted Preeminent Captain and I like Precinct Captain for his more agro edge and his ability to make more creatures.

The upsides of ballyrush were: 1- another creature that could attack (wall of omens is well.. a wall) making the deck slightly more agro, and 2- another way to potentially cast the higher cmc soldiers.

However the downsides: 1- ballyrush died rather easily ( Darkblast, burn spells, other small creatures, etc...), and 2- without Wall of Omens's dig ability I was seeing Preeminent Captain noticeably less, and while the deck can function without him it loses a lot of power...

Militia's Pride has been a little more interesting. I took out the 2 Restoration Angels for 2 of them to speed the deck up (and I can't preem-cap the angels into play). It definitely sped the deck up, but my biggest problem was balancing my attack with the retaliation; what I mean by this is your creatures have to swing to trigger Militia's Pride and the tokens come in attacking. This was awesome sometimes cause I could come out of nowhere with a much bigger attack than my opponent was anticipating, but if I couldn't finish the job then I would be left vulnerable on my opponent's next turn so sometimes I ended up having to leave more guys back to block which meant fewer tokens and the Militia's Pride's payoff decreased.But this might just be me still learning how to play with it, so I plan to continue testing it.

Thanks again for the suggestions guys. Anymore feel free to say something!
