Post WAR Prerelease —April 27, 2019
I've been studying abroad in Japan for around 7 months, as a result I haven't been able to upgrade the deck with the various cards we got since M19.
Opening a God-Eternal Kefnet at my Prerelease, I was able to trade it for a God-Eternal Rhonas. While I've been debating if Rhonas was truly worth it in the deck, I still had cards to get rid of, so he makes for a fine addition in the meantime.
Cards I'm the most excited about are Rhythm of the Wild (haste-enabler and uncounterable creatures is perfect, being able to put a +1/+1 counter on it if there's another haste-enabling effect is icing on the cake) and Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner ( for her static ability is good enough, but she has 7 loyalty and can ramp as soon as she enters the battlefield : an all-star).
I have two considerations for you: Utvara Hellkite and Wild Pair. Utvara Hellkite will make more troublesome tokens for your opponents to deal with. Wild Pair will ensure your dragons will come in a bit quicker than usual. I hope these have helped.

Shivan_dragon_guy I'd like to swap my Sarkhan Unbroken with Sarkhan, Fireblood but he's a little bit too expensive atm.
Ravenrose Utvara Hellkite is quite troublesome but I've decided to swap it with Lathliss, Dragon Queen solely for the cheaper CMC. Frankly I am not sure which one I should go with.

Such a cool deck!!! My five type edh isn't dragon-based but I always thought it would be cool to try out. I just don't have enough wonderful dragons to make an entire edh deck around them.
One card that might be helpful is Dragonspeaker Shaman, though the double red may make it tough to cast.
I also agree that Elemental Bond would be cool as it would essentially let you draw for nearly all your creatures.
Colossal Majesty might also be cool.

evangannaway Thanks a lot ! I used to run Dragonspeaker Shaman and indeed is not a problem in late game but can be counter-productive on turn 3. Instead I chose to run Goreclaw, which costs more but is overall much better.
I already run an Elemental Bond though I didn't consider Colossal Majesty. I might add it if I find some cards to get rid of.

Love the deck as I my self am also a dragon fan of magic owning a mono red dragon tribal deck. A couple questions I had are the following. One: Isn't Dragonlord Kolaghan also a haste enabler? I know you have to get her out first which could be a problem but she still gives haste to her fellow dragons if u reach late game. Second, Why is Savage Ventmaw in tier three? Again like Kolaghan, you have to get it out first but it's still pretty useful considering most of the dragons cost 5-7 mana to cast. Just some questions. Thanks. Great job on the deck!

DragonMaster224 Thanks for the comment. Of course Kolaghan is an effective haste-enabler and I treat it as such, but one can argue that a less expensive and more effective haste-enabler exists. Of course, I don't care about effectiveness concerning her as I've said, I wanted to have all 10 Tarkir Dragons.
About Ventmaw, I don't recall having him pay off but tiers are a mess right now and means virtually nothing.

Love dragons as much as you, maybe even more but the world may never know who truly loves them most. So let's agree to agree that they are amazing. I went more with a enter the battlefield theme, causing more damage and tokens. Give me a look and comment please, I call them Explosive Dragons. I tried to upvote you but it's acting weird.

Fervor for a mono red haste. Steely Resolve for protection if you aren't voltroning. Kindred Summons to top deck dragons straight to play. Wild Pair to have a Dragon pull out another Dragon. (Sorry I don't know how to link cards so I hope you know which cards I'm talking about without having to search them.) I also wanted to add Goreclaw for the mana reduction. Thanks for reminding me.

I have a very similar deck and I love it! Have you thought about adding Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund? He's a secondary haste enabler with the added benefit of reclaiming any dragons that may have been stolen, or stealing dragons from all other players.

Wicked_N_Irish I've avoided including Karrthus since I wouldn't risk losing a game over someone cloning him. Also he's a bit pricey at around 10€.

Awesome list. Think I'll be getting some of the cards here to upgrade my precon.
Have you considered Niv-Mizzet Reborn for this deck once WAR comes out? Could be really strong with all the multicolor legendary dragons in the deck.

i like your deck wish i could get urza's incubator in my deck. You should try a dragon arch in your deck sure its a 5 cost artifact but all multi colored dragons for only 2 mana is a fun combat trick with the multi colored dragons available.
I took out ventmaw as i couldn't really draw into it reliably to get the bonus of it ability.
The other three sarkhan that i think you would like to try are Sarkhan Vol, Fireblood and Dragonsoul. (i run them as players mainly waste targeted removal on them while i get more dragon out.)
Also i agree Ur dragon eminence ability comes in handy in casual games as by turn 7 you can have quite a board state.
