Is it worth it to try to fit Gitaxian Probe in here somewhere?

you have a decent to solid manna base, so you may consider Supreme Verdict over Wrath of God for the added effect. Also, batter skull is solid for a game win, but depending on the rout you wish to take you may want an alternative win con like AEtherling , with is not a bad beater. This is especially true since he dodges kill spells and has a variety of versatility. And if you can try going for 4 Snapcaster Mage, Remand and Cryptic Command as they are the 4 core pieces of blue.

never mind on the verdict, no regen is needed in this meta.

Yeah I need Wrath for stuff like Thrun, the Last Troll. I'll have to think about AEtherling. He's just a little slow for modern, but he might have a place. I'm pretty happy right now with 3 Cryptic Command and 2 Remand. Cryptic is just too expensive and somewhat situational to have as a playset, and Remand is really only good as a tempo play early on. In the later turns, I want a more permanent solution.

Skipped on the AEtherling and Delver of Secrets Flip?

Haha actually I think tec edge and Electrolyze are the only cards in here with promo versions that I don't own. I'll have to work on that.

This deck wouldn't be fun to play with or against. I have my burn deck that is LOADED with burn and it's no fun. I also have my illusion deck that is chock full of counter spells, also no fun. You gotta make a deck that's fun and just burning and controlling the game sucks the life out of the game. But that's just my two cents, I love burn and counter btw, just in small doses now.

Why are you even commenting on the deck if you don't like this style? Personally, I find it very fun to play, and I know plenty of other people who agree with me. If you don't like it, don't play it.

You asked for thoughts, there is mine. Don't cry now. Also you're missing my favorite burn card, Searing Blaze. Such a pain in the ass to deal with.
January 8, 2015 8:15 p.m.
I'm not crying at all. You're just being an ass, and there's no reason for it. If you don't like the deck's play style that's fine, go find a different deck.

I've been using this as a playtest agent for some of my modern decks, and so far it's done well, so I guess I owe you a +1 :P
also, I'm disappointed that you're missing some foils... you need to get on that... NOW!!!
January 11, 2015 11:13 a.m.
Glad its helping you! I'd definitely be interested to hear your take on some of the deck's matchups.
I'd love to get the rest of the foils, but this deck is currently consuming most of my MTG spending money!
January 11, 2015 3:45 p.m.
Yeah, I know how that works... I only allow myself to spend half of my money on MTG :P
Anyway, I was testing it against my U/R delver, and you are consistently able to deal with my threats. That was 2-0 in your favor, which is super good because half of the meta consists of this deck, and you have a good matchup with it...
I also used a prototype U/W geist I'm working on, and I won that one... but I was using a deck under 60, and you were to mana screwed to counter or stall my Geist of Saint Traft beats, so I'm not sure that's a conclusive matchup test...
Anyway, good work...

Sorry bro, those digs gotta go. Got banned in modern today.

I can see your point, but if you want to bring this to a competitive level, remember my words about Serum Visions and Think Twice .Serum Visions fixes your draws but physically it generates 0 card advantage at sorcery speed, whereas Think Twice operates at instant speed, meaning you can just use your spare mana at the end of your opponents turn whenever you have spare mana. Serum Visions literally cripples your early gameplan, as you don't want to play your Visions on the very first turn because you don't know what your opponent is doing by then, you don't want to play it on turn two as you need to keep mana open for Mana Leak since you do not play Spell Snare at all.Did not see you already opted for Geist of Saint Traft , so that's generally reasonable to not play Batterskull .However, Batterskull fits better in your actual gameshell, as you do not run Restoration Angel s to flicker your Geist in case of blocks(Snapcaster loves to block Geist) and running only 1 copy of Geist seems awkward to me.. because you definitely want to slam this dude down as early as possible whereas Batterskull can be your single lategame win condition.
