Phyrexian Obliterator maybe a fun card to mess with your opponents mind. However may be to slow.

This is an amazing way to abuse Notion Thief before standard rotates. I can't really say anything besides amazing synergy and + 1. What would happen if you played my deck post rotation?http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/who-needs-three-drops-anyways-post-rotation/ Who needs three drops anyways? (post rotation)

Ahh I had a very similar idea a while back. It ended up becoming my deck The Pissed Off Librarian... Which you should check out because it's super bombastic.

Anyway I think you're cheating yourself out of some damage here. I see you have Shrieking Affliction but you could be doing more.. A LOT more.

Try Liliana's Caress try The Rack , And/or Quest for the Nihil Stone

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll check it out. About Shrieking Affliction , I use it because I thought it would be the one that deals the most damage for this deck configuration, but I could be wrong. I'll playtest the deck with each card you suggested and see what happens.

Thanks!

Wow i really like this deck. ive only been playing magic for a little while but have an affinity for B/U decks. I built one myself thats a mill deck but this is a different approach and i like it alot. i may try to build a version of it myself sometime soon +1

It's a nice deck, but you need to be careful with the Consecrated Sphinx + Notion Thief "reverse mill" (if your opponent put one of these into the battlefield and you draw a card, you instantly lose, remember that the Notion Thief ability is not optional)

I greatly recommend more removal/counter spells

Try Invisible Stalker . It seems underwhelming until you can cipher a card like Mental Vapors or Paranoid Delusions and continually cast it each turn. for lockdown you can cipher Hands of Binding and stop them from attacking you.

@lendrick Totally true. I tweaked the sideboard a little bit to add a few more removal spells.

@neosapien It could be cool, but its cmc seems very high for what it does, and I'm aiming at lower cmc cards. Thanks for the suggestion anyways!

@nmannign21 I don't know how I forgot about Invisible Stalker . Whispering Madness is a nice card to cipher too. I didn't know Mental Vapors , I'll try to add them both. Thanks!

I'd recommend Disowned Ancestor over Returned Phalanx. If you're just using it as a wall, Ancestor is cheaper, fatter, and can also get bigger in late game.

If you're not putting it in, what are your thoughts on Jace, Memory Adept? Heck, there's also Jace Beleren. I run both in my mill deck.. which I have to post eventually.

@spacetear You're absolutely right, I'm not very familiar with the khans set yet so I didn't realize I had that option. Thanks!

@CharlesMandore I'm not aiming at a mill win with this deck, so Jace, Memory Adept wouldn't work here. (Note that 'discard' means to put a card in the graveyard from the hand, and not from the deck). Jace Beleren's first ability would como nicely with Notion Thief, but I already have Master of the Feast, wich has almost the same effect.

Memory Adept does allow for card draw, though.

It's true, I think it's kind of a waste to use it solely for that purpose. I have several other cards that allow me to draw

The first card I thought of when I read Notion Thief was Dictate of Kruphix. Talk about boosting Chasm Skulker, and it would literally give you a draw, or two, or three... every turn. Running Reliquary Tower would help keep those cards too. Just some food for thought. +1 from me though, nice deck.

Psychosis Crawler has worked wonders for me in my deck that's very similar.

Jace's Archivist is also an alternative to Whispering Madness, and can be easier to proc if you don't have any unblockable creatures to cipher Whispering Madness onto.

Neato. I really like the draw/discard style used here. I think I'll copy some of these ideas and see if I can get a mill deck working using Sphinx's Tutelage + Teferi's Puzzle Box .
