You lose X life I gain X life! Watch as your opponent's life gets sucked away into your own life pool! Make it hurt for them to attack you!

This is the focus of the deck. It's what I like to call my 'passive aggressive' deck. It's made up of flyers with lifelink abilities that can be easily pumped with Edge of the Divinity. Defense is provided by Souls of the Faultless, Hissing Miasma, and High Priest of Penance. Passive aggressiveness is also provided by Castigate and Tidehollow Sculler. Early creatures are stopped with the removal spells and walls while you build defense then attack with your flyers. The basic idea of this deck came from the pre-made orzhov deck they sold when Guildpact first came out in the original Ravnica block. This deck really shines when in comes to multiplayer, especially multiplayer games where it is a free-for-all, as you are never the easiest target!

This is a casual modern-legal deck I use when playing against people who are just getting into the game so I don't care about making it super competitive, but if there are some budget cards that will make the deck function better, I'd like to know!

Thanks for looking!

Updates Add

So BW lifegain has been a theme in BFZ limited, so I'm incorporating some of the newer cards from BFZ and Origins to this deck in order to lower the avg mana cost and try to make the deck work better with only 3-4 lands in play. Plus those Blood-Cursed Knights were practically made to be paired with Edge of the Divinity!
