Please forgive the highly mature deck name...

This should NOT be on the "top decks" boards. The idea is highly exploitable, but the deck is underdeveloped. I plan to remedy this based of the great suggestions below, but if you want a deck worthy of the "top deck" page, go to Shere Khan eats Biscuits :) it's pretty sick

Torpor Orb- prior to AVR I would think of it as a control oriented card. But several cards released in the new set would be extremely imbalanced if they lacked the entry fee that torpor orb just so happens to take away. Now I see the offensive opportunities:

Demonlord of Ashmouth - you don't have to sacrifice anything, so he's a 5/4 flying undying demon for 4 mana.

Treacherous Pit-Dweller - 4/3 undying for 2 mana. and when he comes back, he's STILL mine :) when torpor orb is not on the field, if the pit-dweller's allegiances run astray, I can swoop him back up with Vapor Snag and Disperse

Delver of Secrets   gives me a strong turn 1 play

Vapor Snag and Disperse are more effective now that you don't have to worry about the entry ability of whatever you are unsummoning.

When those aren't enough, 7 solid kill spells and 3 mass removal spells fill out the rest of the control aspect

Still a work in progress, one I will get back to.

P.S.

Vexing Devil is also good with torpor orb, but that's another deck for another time. Also, you could make an EXTREMELY inexpensive monoblack deck that takes advantage of torpor orb if you so desire
