I had been playing more long game decks for quite a while, and got tired of getting slammed before really starting my game, In response I wanted to make a much faster paced deck, but on a budget, and this is what resulted.

The primary objective of this deck is to smack the opponent as hard as possible as fast as can be managed, often with small creatures the opponent doesn't expect to pack so hard a punch.

The main thing I'm hoping to find here is what hard counters do you all see to this, and what solutions in red would you see to handle it that doesn't slow everything else down too much.

Finally got the chance to take this to a standard tournament last night and it took first place. Not a big tournament, only 12 players, but there were still some pretty good players and decks there still. Went 6-0 total for the 3 matches, taking a cumulative 13 points of damage through the entire event. This deck definitely hits hard, fast, and catches people off guard.

Match 1: 2-0 This one was done before about half the people were done mulling, only took about 5 minutes. My opponent was using Simic. First game, the cards just weren't in his favor, only getting 1 forest, and it was done turn 5. Second game he actually had me on the ropes for a minute, but I was able to hit him with a sucker punch when he dropped his defenses, doing 14 damage in one shot.

Match 2: 2-0 Against a Golgari deck. Plain and simple, his deck was too slow, and I was able to beat him on turn 5 with a slow hand (first creature of mine was Guttersnipe) in the first game. Game 2 I beat him turn 4 with a mad-capped cackler with 1 turn of armed.

Match 3: 2-0 This one was against a Red, Blue, Black control deck, but once again just too slow,
