...although there's not much suiciding going on when you don't play beaters like Sangrophage or have access to Hatred.

Got tired of my bog standard mono B control deck but I still want a black pauper deck. I took inspiration from oldschool Suicide Black decks, and most of what made those decks work (discard effects + land destruction + an aggressively costed creature) is available except pauper lacks the ridiculous card advantage of cards like Necropotence or Yawgs Will. Instead I want to refill my hand with Village Rites and Deadly Dispute + Shambling Ghast and Unwilling Ingredient.

Big mana via Dark Ritual and Bubbling Muck is poured into Howl or Drain Life to finish the opponent. I'll adjust as I test the deck.
