I've always liked the idea of Darien as a commander, but since people tend not to swing at him until they're able to swing for lethal, he often ends up as a pillow fort commander, and I think there are better options for that archetype, so I'm trying a more aggressive approach. This list deliberately pings itself, exchanging life for soldier tokens for an aggressive early swarm.

Since Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth doesn't contain the black mana symbol, it's legal to include in the deck. If you're wondering why it's here, look at Karma. Stoneforge Mystic is there to fetch Skullclamp or one of the swords (which are mostly there for card draw and recursion, not to mention that Light and Shadow will protect Darien from most spot removal). I'm avoiding smaller anthems like Crusade and Intangible Virtue, because they push our tokens out of range to work with Skullclamp and Mentor of the Meek, and we get more value out of the slots with Mirror Entity, Coat of Arms, True Conviction, etc. Blasting Station gives us infinite lifegain with Darien and Healer of the Pride or two of the Soul Warden effects, or it can deal infinite damage with Reveillark + Karmic Guide, or it can be used as a sacrifice engine for Martyr's Bond.
