Sideboard

Maybeboard

A modern jund style of gameplay, attrition based with value 3 drops. Heart of Kiran Seems really good in this format and is crewable by every permanent in the deck aside from Gilded Goose which can become a 3/3 thanks to everyone's favorite planeswalker Oko, Thief of Crowns . Elder Deep-Fiend is really only in the deck because i miss playing the card, but the tree drops get value before being sacrificed, the energy from Rogue Refiner goes to waste but I cant find a better direct ETB draw creature with better stats, if you can, please let me know. Finally the mana base is absolutely solid, I could shuffle some cards around but it doesn't feel necessary.

Sideboard: Cast down is just the best 2 mana removal I could think of for creatures over 4 mana, however its possible I want something that can also kill planeswalkers. Ceremonious Rejection is here because Im scared of people remembering that eldrazi are busted and it becoming a staple of the format. Disdainful Stroke , reading the card explains the card. Duress is here for the potiential non-creature combo decks, Paradoxical Outcome ect. Hydroid Krasis and Nissa, Who Shakes the World are here for going over the top of other midrange decks, and Veil of Summer is here because thoughtsieze is a massive card in this format, and people are going to be trying counterspell decks until they remember 3 mana Tef ruins everyones fun.

I've decided that if there is a deck for Elder Deep-Fiend this isnt it, so for the sake of competitive nature I've cut it from the deck along side Rogue Refiner and Thought Erasure. These cards were replaced by Courser of Krufix x2, Karn, the Great Creator x2, GrimFlayer x4, and Ishkanah, Grafwidow x1. This also means I changed the sideboard to have a light wish-board, removing very linear cards like Ceremonious Rejection and shuffled some numbers around to fit the suite of artifacts you see in the sideboard. I did a split of Sorcerous Spyglass and Pithing Needle because when on the play, or even draw against copy cat you may want to tutor pithing needle so you can play it turn 4 if you have a Gilded Goose online, while other times the hand information will be more important than the efficiency
