Awesome deck, but it needs Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and a Gideon Jura . A Frost Titan and/or a Lorthos, the Tidemaker .

I did consider those, I may even get Gideon Jura , but the others are too slow for how the deck works. I would rather get Sleep and blast them with Sunblast Angel than Frost Titan or Tamiyo, the Moon Sage . I did include Lorthos, the Tidemaker , because the thought of having a massive tapper with 8/8 was awesome, but it turned out to be too slow as well. Thanks for the comment, though.

Distortion Strike or Artful Dodge can help you to connect with your card:Gideon's Avenger if you run out of tappers.

I don't think Distortion Strike or Artful Dodge would work as well with this deck. You would have to take out something to replace them with, and I think the deck would function better as it is.

I really suggest getting lands like Glacial Fortress or Sejiri Refuge (if cost is an issue) just to make sure you don't get screwed over with mana. card:Gideon's Lawkeeper is a good one drop as well and will give you a permanent chance to keep tapping creatures.
I wish there were more cards like Sunblast Angel . I wanted to make a deck like this but couldn't get it to work. Love this idea though!

Since you do have a bunch of tap down how about Cloudshift for Sunblast Angel

Cool deck concept. Have you considered things like Spectral Prison or Paralyzing Grasp ? Something a little bit more permanent than an instant or sorcery. Also you might want to thing about a little counter. I know Oak Street Innkeeper might give you some problems for keeping things tapped.

Thanks for all of your suggestions and/or upvotes, but I'll keep it as it is for now. I have considered cards like Paralyzing Grasp , but I need mass tapping cards in many instances, which is why I have cards like Downpour and Sleep . Cloudshift would be very useful for Sunblast Angel , but I would rather get a card I could use immediately, rather than having to use it on only one card. Again, thanks for your support.

My only recommendation is Gideon Jura and maybe Serum Visions !
Also, a few nonbasic land wouldn't be half-bad!
Great deck tho!

Are the cards in your sideboard cards you want but don't have? Venser, the Sojourner could help to flicker Sunblast Angel , and make card:Gideon's Avenger unblockable. Plus his ultimate is awesome. +1 if I haven't already.

The sideboarded cards are cards I was thinking about, or what I might switch with in case of going up against something that may counter the deck. I'm still considering Gideon Jura , but he may be too slow for my taste. While Venser, the Sojourner is useful, it could only played later on, and I need to constantly be able to cast cards like Downpour or Sleep . Thanks for the comments and/or upvotes!

since most of the time your opponent's creatures will be tapped i don't really see the point in adding evasion such as Artful Dodge . also you need to have card advantage in order to don't get overwhelmed by your opponents creatures. consider Serum Visions or Preordain

I usually get what I need without the use of cards like Serum Visions or Preordain . I will think abut it, but I don't think I'll use them; thanks for comments and/or upvoting!

I once worked on a deck like this, and it's cool to see it again. My recommendation for you would be to find cards that could "flicker" Sunblast Angel . A few really simple, inexpensive card would be Ghostly Flicker or card:Conjurer's Closet. You would have to be cautious about attacking with card:Gideon's Avenger if you used the closet though. If you added a flicker theme, another great card would be Archaeomancer to get back all those stall cards.

No Frost Titan as another finisher? Taps down permanents and slows down removal. Also inexpensive.

I need every mass tapper I can get, for as low mana cost as possible. That's why I don't have cards like Frost Titan or Lorthos, the Tidemaker .

What about card:Siren's Call for a potencial board wipe? Some other cards that may be nice, card:Angel's Trumpet, Frozen AEther , and maybe Fatespinner & Minister of Impediments .
Like the deck +1!
December 24, 2012 6:23 p.m.
card:Siren's Call, I can see myself using. I'll definitely put some thought into that. The others, I have thought about, but chose not to have them so that the deck would flow better.

Shame about card:Siren's Call, it looked like it would have worked rather well with this deck. Cipher001, maybe you could sideboard it in case you want to take Sunblast to any legacy tournaments sometime.

Very unique and cool deck! I like the idea of tapping them out and pumping things up.+1!
