He's only usable with Sunblast Angel If I get him with any other, he's mostly useless for the mana I put into him.

What will you do if they have an Imposing Sovereign in play?. Without removal you end up wiping your own angel.

Then that would happen. It's not the end of the world. If I'm hitting them with a sunblast, chances are, they'll be feeling it more than I will.

You might want to consider Gridlock and Gigadrowse for their versatility. Also, some flicker effects for sunblast could work really well. Love the deck though. +1 from me.

Favorite deck I've seen in a while, that rare deck that's fun, original and powerful simultaneously.

Thanks! Sunblast is my favorite of all the decks I've made.

I don't know what's modern and what's not but check out Crackdown , Marble Titan , and Meekstone !!

Those cards would kinda screw me over though,,, Sunblast Angel and Gideon's Avenger would be affected as well.

What about Lyev Skyknight, Baneslayer Angel, Oblivion Ring, and/or Fiendslayer Paladin?
November 11, 2013 4:05 p.m.
I'm pretty sure those would not fit in with this deck. While good cards, this deck has excellent synergy with just about everything in it. As good as, say, Baneslayer Angel is, it just doesn't fit.

How about Bident of Thassa as a means of forcing them to become tapped? Admittedly that could prove dangerous as well but it could work i really like what you've done with this though nice optimization of Sunblast Angel .
November 17, 2013 8:33 p.m.
@Beakedbard, I wouldn't use Bident of Thassa because the part of the point of tapping them is so they wouldn't get to me. I do see what you're talking about though.
@Aelorith, Yes, it is.

I know it's more expensive, but maybe you could have Hallowed Fountain instead of Glacial Fortress just a suggestion +1
November 24, 2013 12:14 p.m.
It wouldn't make as much sense as Glacial Fortress . I have no one drops other than Blustersquall , which I always use for its overload cost, and the glacial fortress always comes in whenever I have a plains or an island on the field, which I probably would on my first turn. Thanks for the upvote!

Cipher001, I'm kind of new to mtg so if you are willing to... could you explain to me how glacial fortress would in battle?
November 24, 2013 1:51 p.m.
Glacial Fortress is a card that hits the field tapped unless there is plains or an island or something like Hallowed Fountain , which counts as a plains island on the field. What exactly do you want to know about it?

I really enjoyed this deck. I might actually put some effort into making this because I hate people :D
While it went 3-5 against Prime Time Ramp in play-testing, 3/5 wins PTR got came down to the top-deck.
+1
