How would you play this deck vs heavy control decks that don't focus on dropping many creatures? I suppose a sideboard leyline as you have helps with most of a control deck's win conditions, but is that the only defense? I'd like to pick this deck up as it looks quite fun to play, but I don't want to invest in something that would get eaten alive by the modern metagame.

I will look over the current meta for this deck and see what sideboard changes need to be made. In the meantime, please look at an alternative, The Scorch Trials. Whichever you want me to go edit accordingly, I will do so.

try Blind Obedience instead of Imposing Sovereign

also so new cards you can use in the origins set are Swift Reckoning and Willbreaker

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage? I mean she Synergizes well with your deck. Her +1 well, taps a creature. Her -2 gets value from tapping the creatures.
