Ah, well, no surprise there about the Brainstorm I suppose, should have seen that coming. Goes to show how much I normally play blue lol.

I would replace Tome Scour with Thought Scour , because the the card draw is awesome. Also replace 1 Unburial Rites with another Gifts Ungiven. That card is basically a modern legal double Entomb, in blue.

Thirst for Knowledge? Good discard/refuel engine in the same package. Like the deck :) +1

not quite true gunnerocka.
Read the exact ruling of the card on gatherer, it specifically says "at the beginning of the next end step". Once your turn has come to an end, you let that trigger go on the stack and only then activate Sundial of the Infinite, so it ends the turn (and empties the stack) before you exile your creature.

Lol Telerik a lot of times the rules of that card have had to be explained, maybe make it in
VERY BIG LETTERS LIKE THIS
so people know the ruling.
Great deck, but I am curious why no Emrakul, the Aeons Torn instead of Ulamong?

Never mind the whole graveyard shuffling thing. Sorry for wasting 5 seconds of your time :P

Sundial of the Infinite specifically states on the card itself that it will exile all spells and abilities on the stack, AND specifically states that "this turn" and "until end of turn" effects end. It's not that difficult people... Sorry for spam, but people should stop telling you this doesn't work without first looking at the rulings, which as I said are printed directly on the card lol.

Thanks CrovaxTheCursed, you hit the nail on the head.

Have you considered Snapcaster Mage in this deck? The self mill means you are probably going bin one or two of your reanimation spells, and most decks will not simply let you stick big fatties to the board, so you may need to reanimate them more than once. Either that or a playset of Isochron Scepters could be useful.

Yes, I have considered Snapcaster Mage. Maybe in place of both Geist of Saint Trafts...

I would run him in place of both Geists, one Iona, and one Ulamog. You already have two copies of gifts, so getting win-cons into your bin shouldn't be that big of an issue.

I used to run 4 copies of Seance. However, I found it not to be as useful as expected. Also, plus it triggers not until my next upkeep -> first use turn 5, which is too slow in my opinion :-)

i would suggest a few Geist of Saint Traft somewhere in the 75, as there are few ways to get rid of a hexproof dude, and sonetimes he just runs away with the game
He also has sundial value, if you end the turn during combat, you keep the angel token

This deck does not work like you think it does.
Goryo's Vengeance has the following oracle text:"Return target legendary creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. That creature gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step."
This means that you will lose any creatures brought back with it on your opponent's next end step trigger.
