Add some Polukranos, World Eater ? Another Banishing Light main board would be helpfull, and I'd add a little more basic lands, Scry lands are cool, but slow you down very quickly, especially post-THS rotation, were aggressive and midrange decks will be popular. Very nice deck, I'm currently building something similar.

your mana base looks really painful, between temples forcing you to play from behind and 10 painlands you will lose a lot of games to your lands, try a few basics perhaps over the confluences.

Yeah. You're probably right, I'm still deciding on what should be going into the deck but it's still important to make sure I can even cast my spells without having to kill myself. 10 Painlands is a bit too much. I might cut it down to 6ish and cut a few scrys as well. 12 will really slow the deck down. Also the added bonus of being able to untap my forests with nissa is always nice. Feel free to list any suggestions on the mana base you would use. I'll be tinkering with it for awhile till Khans actually comes out and we get out tri-color lands apparently.

Polukranos is flat out not right here. He'll monstrous for 3 max. That just isn't useful enough with all the fatties coming. It would, however, be great if you dropped some nonbasic lands, the pain lands, for some Forest, some Plains, and even 2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or some Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx Playing so many scry lands is bad because on an average hand, you will probably be stuck until turn three. More basic lands is a must for Nissa, as that is what she best utilizes. With Brimaz and Elspeth making dudes, I feel Ajani Steadfast would be better, especially since you get a faster Elspeth and Nissa Ult. I also see dead hands as an issue. I would actually mainbord read the bones. Also, with Walker decks being possible and Soul of New Phyrexia being a thing in green builds with heavy mana, I would play at least two or three banishing light. I like it though!

Thanks for the input beast, i took your advice on Ajani Steadfast my strategy is to flood the board with a lot of different threats in the form of Brimaz, King of Oreskos /Tokens with Nissa, Worldwaker Making hasty 4/4 trampling lands and to top off my curve with Elspeth, Sun's Champion to stabilize me or put me over the top with her soldiers or her Ult. I think my land base is alright it can always use tuning, but losing the value of being able to scry would be slightly worse, and I don't think my lands are that slow considering i have 14 untapped lands while i have my 8 tapped scrylands and the 2 Evolving Wilds to shuffle my deck and get extra life with Courser of Kruphix . Though I see Banishing Light being one of the best catch all removal I'm still vary wary of having it in the main because of all the enchantment hate theros and m15 brought to the table. Not to mention I feel it'd be the first card I side out when game to comes around and if I have to do that every game I feel it loses some of it's value. Maybe I'm underestimating it and I'll virtually mulligan my opponent every game 2 when they side in their enchantment hate but I feel Banishing Light leads to blowouts a lot of the time. That's all speculation of course I don't really know how the next standard will be so I'll leave it at that.

Thanks for all the input we'll see what Khans has in store for us soon.

This looks great though! Definite +1! I would play this man!

Also, I really like the Courser+Evolving Wilds combo!

Last comment, I feel like Banishing Light could shut down white weenies. If they gods willing for pro white, it opens them up for a downfall. If you target something they're enchanting, the pro white will fuck them over.

Ya.Banishing Light is good I just don't know how much people will be main boarding enchant hate considering they'll hit the card advantage stick of Courser of Kruphix and the gods if they're playable once RTR is gone. Essentially I'm just considering the viability of Deicide in the main. Only time will tell.

So my last question; What are we doing against white weenies?

They're pretty much getting stopped by the Fleecemane Lion , Brimaz, King of Oreskos , Sylvan Caryatid , and Courser of Kruphix . It's pretty hard to fight through those and once my removal is online i can start getting ahead with my walkers. If they're too aggressive i'll board in the Bile Blight , Drown in Sorrow . Also Polukranos, World Eater is a house against hyper aggressive decks eating x/1's and just being a giant body they have to get through with tricks. (I'm also considering Reaper of the Wilds in this spot.

Interesting. So it stalls weenies until either you can get equal board presence through removal, or until it board wipes with Elspeth. Sounds great! My dad may actually really like this.

Ya I've always been a fan of midrange decks. I love the junk colors so it's fortunate that we're having the wedge set with Junk in them. I based the deck around Patrick Chapin's Pro Tour winning Journey into Nyx block deck, with the addition of M15 lands and other things. It's essentially a JUNK colored good stuff deck which tries to play the best cards at each point in your curve. (ex. Fleecemane Lion into Brimaz, King of Oreskos ) The deck can essentially play 2 different games. Go up the curve into the 2 creatures I just mentioned OR play the longer rampier version that goes Sylvan Caryatid into Courser of Kruphix play removal then hit my walkers and gain incremental card advantage through them then close out the game. It really depends on the draw but it seems pretty versatile so far, but still faces the same problems any 3 color deck has which is having the proper mana on the turn you need it, hence the Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix to try and smooth that out while playing solid defense. I just can't wait to see what Khans gives us. This deck may become obsolete you never know. Just gotta play the waiting game for now.

I know I mentioned painful lands, but with getting what you need when you need it being an issue, Mana Confluence is a must. I have a Naya deck And between Scry's, Mana Con, and Sylvans, I have no issues. If I know how to link you there, I would. XD
