I have a much less expensive version of a board control deck Lots of fun to just keep your opponents at bay with their creatures. +1.

Thanks guys! Pan, that's exactly how I feel when I play the deck...aggro decks do not stand a chance at all. I board wipe for one creature...I don't care lol. I like your analysis of it though and appreciate the time you spent testing it.
One thing that got me to this point was a human control deck I used to play. I'd have about 15-18 human creatures and then a bunch of plainswalkers and board wipes. Well, the deck did really well, but as far as board wipes go, I'd be swapping from main to side depending which type I needed. If they ran undying or regen creatures then I needed Terminus
, if they ran counterspells then I needed Supreme Verdict
.
I eventually decided I love using the blue planeswalkers already (Jace and Tami for tag-team champs imo followed close by the power house combo of Ajani-Gideon) and decided I liked having board wipes....too many people were running Restoration Angel and undying creatures or would pump out hordes of creatures and some protection from white or hexproof annoying creatures (Sigarda).
Getting to a stable board with this deck is super easy....2 mana gets you to Rifts and Dreads, 4 mana for explosions.... (and of course the miracle 1 drop).
I'm tempted to try a Jund version of this. The board wipes (for now) would have to be 4 Bonfire of the Damned , 4 Mizzium Mortars , 4 Mutilate , 4 Blasphemous Act maybe Ratchet Bomb but would have to be careful not to hit my walkers same with Gaze of Granite ..Killing Wave , Rolling Temblor and/or Gruul Charm or Windstorm depending. Barter in Blood would work well. I'd get access to all the Fog s I need.Chandra's Fury could be good if I had Pyromancer's Gauntlet .
Then of course use all the Garruks, Chandras, Lillys, Vraska, I dunno...would be an interesting twist. The problem would be no Sphinx's Revelation really

yep its really hard to deal against this!.......Great deck, expensive too! lol only 4 common cards in the maindeck......

Hah ya...it used to be valued around $450 (mid price) before some of the prices started dropping. Terminus
is like a $3 card now compared to the $12 it used to be for instance. And my sideboard was all rares until yesterday when I added the counters. I don't search out for the expensive cards mind you...I generally make my decks using this site in conjuction with gatherer's advanced search function. Lands and planeswalkers are where most of the cost come from.

Nevermind I'm just a budget player lol. +1 from me.
Anyway have you tried Snapcaster Mage ? I'm from Portugal and the place where I play The Snapcaster himself (Tiago) plays with a similar deck, but of course with the snapcasters. Have fun!

Eh...when I first pulled a couple Snapcasters I wasn't into blue and I hated the card lol, so got rid of them both for like $10 each....haven't had any since. Kind of wish I would have grabbed some a year ago....not sure if I want to now before cycle.

When I first saw this deck, I was a little bit skeptical. However, after I actually playtested it, I realized that this deck is, quite simply, not fair.
I was getting a board-wipe every other turn, and unless the opponent was some kind of hard-core control matchup, they were going to get annihilated. This is such a simple way of looking at control (nothing but board-wipes and planeswalkers), but the simplicity is where we can find the raw power that this deck possesses.
While not very complex, this deck impressed me quite a bit. +1, well done.
