This deck is a very basic budget deck focused on stacking +1/+1 counters.

The main strategy to stack said counters is to utilize the interaction between Nessian Hornbeetle and Wildwood Scourge .

Paying extra for Wildwood Scourge guarantees that you can use the ability of Nessian Hornbeetle . If it stacks so does the other. That is a 5/5 for total that gets a free counter every turn. Provided you have Nessian Hornbeetle on the Board of course. They Synergize well with Iridescent Hornbeetle for free blockers. Especially if you get Hydra's Growth or Dragonsguard Elite stacking.

Don't count on Dragonsguard Elite though. It's mainly bait for cards like Eviscerate . It's effekt seems to be a large threat to many players and with a cost of it's very cheap.

Of course this Deck is no good if you can't hit your opponent. If you have no luck and can't overrun your opponent with the Insects from Iridescent Hornbeetle your only other option is to chip (or oneshot) through Trample. For this reason I've decided to add Hornbash Mentor into this Deck.

It's also unfortunate if your opponent only has flying creatures. Not a problem in the late game as getting hit by your creatures forces your opponent to block but just to be safe I've also added Sudden Spinnerets to the mix.

This Deck struggles with mana and relies on a fair bit of card combinations so Llanowar Visionary and Colossal Majesty help a ton.
