I am just getting started in modern and wanted to put together a mono-red budget burn/aggro deck to help me learn the format and decks. I am still waiting on a few pieces and am using some substitutions in there place. The deck list is as it will be when I recieve the last few pieces.

I eventually plan to splash green for Atarka's Command for the mainboard and Destructive revelry in the sideboard. Black is also a possible addition in the form of bump in the night for essentially a black lava spike, and a 1 or 2 of Tasigur, The Golden Fang as a cheap 4/5 beater. Tasigur could easily be cast with only 2 or 3 mana due to delve. Although it is a consideration, it will greatly increase the cost of the deck by needing blood crypts and a few more fetches in the form of bloodstained mires, so I am unsure if adding black is the right move to make as the cost of 2 blood crypts and 2 bloodstained mires could afford me a playset of vexing devils with another $10 left over.

If you have any good budget upgrades please let me know, as this still nedds a bit of help along. I am using wild slash, Searing blood and Lightning strike simply because I have them but would like some budget alternatives.
