It's slightly more budget than Otherworldly Journey :)

Springjack Shepherd with Intangible Virtue or Honor of the Pure can win games =)

Calinours - A few reasons:
Manacurve is a bit high on this deck at 2.7 so while it's mono-white you really want to get those lands out.
Trying to keep this under $10 means MORE LANDS! I could make the cheapest deck in the world if I ran 60 Plains!
Playtesting is still ongoing, so I haven't really found the sweet spot of lands. When building I just went with what I know and typically running 23 lands is a good number for most decks -- unless they're monochromatic. I may take a couple out to slip in some new fun toys like Ninth Bridge Patrol.
I'm not very good at this Magic thing. Super Timmy over here.
But any thoughts on adjustments are always appreciated!

Well, I've play the deck numerous time now, and I always have too many lands on hand past turn 5 and not enough creature to do dmg. So yeah, Ninth Bridge Patrol could do really nice, plus it's cheap!

I've just tried it, and it's exactly what this deck needed. Nice guess bigpappyj.

Oh and I'd change Captain of the Watch for Wispweaver Angel.

Calinours - Yeah, I'm really leaning toward Ninth Bridge Patrol. Wispweaver Angel is tempting, though I think I'd want two to infinite bounce each other to make the Patrol a beast. Otherwise, it's just another bounce while the Captain of the Watch is a nice late game lord for the soldiers in the deck. But not married to her so I'm definitely exploring my options.
Thanks for giving it a look and some thoughts!

I hope you have fun with it. I need you help on this deck if you have some time: Modern budget vampire

bigpappyj, I've found Mentor of the Meek could really improve your deck. I always feel like I could have more cards and and past turn5. And I think that in your thinking of Soldier mono-white blink deck, this card could improve it a lot!

brianokafor23 - Considering them. I'll test a bit and come back with something. Any suggestions?

Is it weird that when I read the description that I heard Mr. Krabs' voice? BTW, cool deck. I'm a big fan of extreme budget decks. +1

i actually bought the deck and been playing with deck. and boy, i have been crushing decks with this budget deck. my version of the deck is mono white throughout with no sagu mauler and i have been using wispweaver angel and honestly it may sound bad but i found it to be pretty decent in certain matches. i wuold actually consider azorious justiciar for 4 mana for 2/2 that detains two of your opponents creature is so op in many matches. another recommendation is maybe having strionic resonator it is a obsurd card in the late game to gain value(thraben inspector or azorious justiciar) i just have one copy in my deck.i highly recommend to not play with the ninth bridge patrol cause its not good if you are not flickering your whole board. i bought my version for only $4.53 at tcgplayer. i am still wondering is there a definite sideboard for this deck?

another option to look at is panharmonicon too

brianokafor23 - That's awesome! Glad to hear the deck is fun for ya! And good call on some upgrades.
Azorius Justiciar looks like an interesting addition. I'll have to test it, but I wonder if it's too dependent on creature heavy opponents and potentially takes away from the "HOLY CARP!" a Sagu Mauler can create. Wispweaver Angel on the other hand, she's mighty purdy and puts a flyer with a flicker on the board. Very scary.
Strionic Resonator and Panharmonicon are getting solid looks from me for upgrade cards. Especially Pan, the ability to double all the ETB effects? Oh yeah, sign me up.
Another budget-ish upgrade and maybe sideboard tech would be the Soul Sisters package. While the ladies aren't entirely budget (two playsets are more expensive than two copies of this deck, really), the lifegain from the blinking can really put some games out of reach for the opposition. And I really dig amicdeep's suggestion for Glimmerpoint Stag as a cheap Flickerwisp. Gonna play around and see if there's a home in here for 'em.
As for dedicated sideboard, not sure yet, at least, not within a budget. Honestly need to play it more to really know. Gotta carve out some time on MTGO with this bad boy.
Thanks for playing it, tho, and great to hear you're having success -- and fun!

I've been working on a similar deck but also utilising devotion for token generation. I've set my price limit 30. You may find this interesting
